Learned how fun the Juggy can be. AM3 really changes the kit. Went with a 4/6/6/6/4 build focused on turret, siege pulse, and weapon damage.

Sadly all my URs are still low ranked, so I put on the Geth Super Soaker to keep recharges fast and for maximum toastering.

Flamerless Geth Trooper. It's a common build but have you tried a Spitfire on him?

 

You just can't die due to the shield recharge and you can just keep firing like a typical fearless Geth unit.

 

I have a question, with the shield recharge bonuses of Fortification, HM (don't remember if it has one), Fitness and Stronghold Package, what level of Shield Cell consumable becomes obsolete on it?

None, keep stacking all the shield recharge stuff and you get down to around 1 to 1.25 seconds, something like that, I always run stronghold and cells 3 on it, I go 45665 myself but same principle

but keep in mind your shield gate is still at 3 s cd

You can even lower it at 0,6s with Multicapacitor !

Nope, that's why Shield Power Cells are more valuable on characters with high shields. My favorite character built around a fast shield recharge is the batsent with full fitness, 5a in Blade Armor, Stronghold Package and Shield Power Cells 3. He gets 1575 shields recharging every 1,1s, along with 40% damage reduction. Almost unkillabe on gold, outside sync-kills.

Why when there's staggerless Destroyer that can actually maneuver with Spitfire. Getting the Spitfire finally ramped up only to find that you can't move anymore while firing or having your ramped up fire interrupted again because you've got staggered again are both very lame.

Nothing new, but starting over with a new manifest has made me enjoy Fat Turians more. I barely used the Arc Picstol, Raider and Saber before, but even at low levels, the Turians make these guns shine.

I'm talking about when the Spitfire is ramped up and shooting things. With most kits you have to stop firing, move, wait for ramp up, and then again continue at maxed firing rate dps. Lame. While Destroyer just moves & eats stagger for breakfast, ensuring your Spitfire stays hot.

 

Many times in the game with the Spitfire I'm shooting at something and I have to adjust to the changing environment with strafing. If I can't strafe, I'm a sitting duck.

The Destroyer N7 barely has movement speed with the Spitfire, firing or not. let alone when you pick up the Pizza

^ You're not getting me. I'm talking movement speed while firing your weapon. Big difference with the Spitfire weapon since it slows most kits down to almost standstill in this category. Plus it's a ramp up weapon and you don't want to have to ramp it up more then you have too. Having to stop firing just so you can slightly adjust to enemies changing position, just so you can actually move, is big flaw. As when I play Spitfire, I need to be able to move while firing from RHA to RHA or maintain moving around RHA while enemies are moving.

 

And with the Destroyer, you also don't have to worry about stagger. Why he's the king of ramp up weapons like Typhoon and Particle Rifle.

Perhaps not "fun", but I recently specced into Biotic Slash in my effort to have completed each challenge at least once (Plat Solo still eludes me).  Finally I have something for my Slayer to do during hacks and escorts.  And damn does it accumulate points quickly, two hacks in a gold game usually completes the challenge.

Perhaps not "fun", but I recently specced into Biotic Slash in my effort to have completed each challenge at least once (Plat Solo still eludes me).  Finally I have something for my Slayer to do during hacks and escorts.  And damn does it accumulate points quickly, two hacks in a gold game usually completes the challenge.

Biotic slash is highly underrated power IMO. It has actually quite good damage, detonates almost everything and works well off host. If the lag is too much for normal biotic charge, you can always wallhack with it, dodge out to PD and then dodge back through a wall to wallhack with slash until shields regenerate. Rinse and repeat, easy mode. Add to that arc pistol with drill ammo and you don't ever have to charge.

 

Same thing is true for electric slash although getting through the walls is not that easy.

True, if using Spitfire Trooper, best used on long corridors. Not while in the open.

 

Also, tried out a Salarian Engineer with a Carnifex (because Mordin gave us that weapon in ME2). http://kalence.drupa...555!!..T5!BDE4C

 

It's interesting how ... Salarian this kit is. All about efficiency. Energy Drain to fill its own shields (not letting anything go to waste), Incinerate works on health and armor and Decoy is something that a Salarian would use. I'm looking for a good backup weapon for the Carnifex that is Salarian-y. I had the Hurricane but barely used it. A Raptor?

Go nuts. I have 6a in HS because I always used to spec into 6b. Also, 5a in Fitness is better than 5b.

 

Does the Striker cause frame drop or lag on PS3? Or maybe my connection was bad when I played this.

I tested it first in a gold game VS Reapers. What is great with this build is that, with full passives, pistol amp 2 and Commando Package (or pistol amp 3 + Geth scanner or whatever you prefer), the Tsent has enough weapon damage bonus to reach the value (2025) needed to one-hit kill Cannibals, unshielded Marauders (ie after an Overload cast) and, of course, Husks, with a body shot, even without any ammo damage bonus ! I recommend however to use incendiary rounds 3 or 4, because thus you can kill Ravagers with the simple shoot-Warp-shoot sequence.       

 

Then I tested it against Geth. I could one body shot kill troopers, Overloaded Rocket troopers and Bombers, and, surprisingly, Pyros when I hit the "fuel tank". Unshielded Hunters needed a headshot though.     

 

I find this is both a very effective and fun build, good for both PC and console players, as you don't need headshots to one-hit kill most gold mooks with it. Of course, there are other weapons which allow you to do that, but none let you spam your powers every 3,6 seconds.

 

I suppose this build would shine less VS Collectors and their enhanced defense values when possessed, as well as on-host Phantoms, but still decent I think.
