Mostly tried this 'just because'. Surprisingly effective, but a ton of risk/reward involved.

OMFG. Reegar(/Piranha) Valkyrie with Warp IV ![]()
Took her for a few Plats, my god can she dish it out.
On-host phantom? No fks given, she dead.
Banshee? Zero care, she dead.
Atlas? Trickier, but still dead.
I have played infiltrators galore, even TGI Harrier, but nothing compares to the sheer force of this little psycho b*tch.
Warp for debuff whilst closing in, empty Reegar/Piranha into them (Moving into AF for more debuff), reload cancel with Warp for BE, if still alive, it wont be for long.
I assume Raider also works when off-host? I discounted the Claymore because it is heavier, it is effective at far greater ranges (meaning less incentive for AF debuff).
Raider can get tricky off-host, if the connection is bad. It can destroy your rhythm and I don´t know about you, but for me that´s just as irritating as rubberbanding. Claymoar is helluva fun though. Enemies die in masses and then some. But there won´t be many BEs though, because of low CDs. IF you REALLY wanna amp up that DPS though, go full cheese, your pizzas will taste soooooooooo much better.
I usually have a LTP failure with vanguards, but this Asari vanguard is very playable on platinum. Stasis on enemies without armor but with shields/barriers (phantoms, marauders, collector captains, rocket troupers, etc). On armored foes lay down the incendiary ammo and charge for fire explosions. Very survivable and a lot of fun.
Revenant Turian Sentinel for me. I could get 2 or 3 Overloads off during the clip. Staggered foes sorta made up for the god awful accuracy too. I had a lot of fun using it on Gold while getting the challenge done.

Marksman makes the gun almost good. Hunter Mode makes it passable. If it's improved accuracy and recoil was its base accuracy and recoil, it'd be the mini-Typhoon it was meant to be. It DOES have a satisfying amount of DAKKA though.
QFI+Lancer with Disruptor Ammo.

Have you tried Warp Ammo yet? It's pretty good against Armour, especially if there is a biotic primer on the team. Phasics also work well against Geth and Cerberus ![]()

Shall try and report back. ![]()
My GT goes out only in cosplay games, but I prefer this. It's not much exciting, but you have tons of shields, and you can constantly shoot the Javelin for long-range targets and change to the High Lord to deal with all the insolent mooks. Use any ammo you want.
The good thing with the flamerless GT is, that you can put any weapon on him and he rocks it. I used the High Lord on him in a London/Geth/Gold solo and despite me taking it rather slow, I was 15 mins in on w6 when the drone bugged out. Depending on w10, I might have made that a sub-30. Also used him with a Spitfire/GPS combo, again he rocked it. He is a highly versatile weapons platform.
As I am apparently not the biggest fan of flamer, here is my Vorcha Soldier:

Flamer is merely used for reload-hiding and priming. Glorious explosions guaranteed.

You find that you lack ammo with the Raider ?

I love the build, but I'd recommend taking recharge speed on the carnage so the cooldown is more managable

The build I use to simulate the GT picture in the select screen.
You have nearly all the dakka power of a Destroyer, but with a dodge, more speed, nearly instant shield regen and free wallhacks.
I do miss the lack of stagger power with it.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ I LOVE the typhoon on the geth soldier........... 10 / 10 Binary
but...I also cheese it with flame specd and I use incid ammo....................

Scorpion. Cooldown doesn't matter and you can amuse yourself making phantoms do their pole-dancing routine every once in a while. All the mini-Geth rock the Scorpion.

Naaaah. I don't use sidearms ![]()

YESSSS. I tried my Drellguard with something like this last night (Nightman saw the slaughter)
Went very well. I would headbutt everything and follow up with a melee. Then with Phantoms I would charge them and toss a nade. I died more than I liked but it was totally worth it.
^^^^^^^^^^^^ I was there...I witnessed the carnage......Bowlcuts was very effective with that drellguard
Why make a squishy Drell Guard a Brawler, when you already have....a Brawler? ![]()
He isn't that squishy with 50% chance for no cooldown trigger. Chaining charges and a few well timed grenades when needed are enough. Plus, Drell Falcon Punch.
Too classy.

I don't have the BatGuard unfortunately.
Besides, I love his quickness and Cluster Grenade spam and hearing him say "pick your target!"

He already has a Falcon punch, no need for Batglove, the Bat punch only slows him down. And I use the 50% no CD chance myself on all Vanguard except the Novaguard. Also, the Cyclonics doesn't help him much and no Shrapnel on Clusters is a sacrilege punished by death in the Empire.
