Fair enough, which battle are you reloading the most you find?

I always think back to Horizon as the first time I had problems surviving. First Praetorian felt a magnitude of order more difficult. (Which I suppose it was.)

I still want an Oculus in MP on Plat.

I didn't mean it that way. I meant using gibbed to mod my existing shotgun vanguard to a revenant vanguard and reload any save as I please. If I were to test it on a mission, it'd be the disabled coll. cruiser (it gave me the most headache in my first couple of playthroughs, plus it is my favorite mission in the trilogy).

Haven't tried the Tempest yet, but I don't like the weapon itself. Tried the others though.

My no-fitness Destroyer runs PPR and Venom, because like you said, never too much crowd control. Carpet bomb all the phantoms! SPACE LAZORZ ALL THE BOSSES! EXPLODE ALL THE MOOKS! And, of course, Hydra spec HML is awesome.

I wasn't the one using it, but I witnessed (and indeed spectated on) something I've never seen before - A Krogan Vanguard with....

....a Mantis. And nothing else. On Glacier Hazard.

My Human Engineer / Carnifex ran out of gels on wave 9, so I got to see this up close. While it wasn't incredibly fun in the sense that this thread was intended, it was certainly incredibly fun for me. For a while, anyway. Truly bizarre to watch in all honesty. My thoughts on score are pretty well documented, but if you're being outscored as host by more than 100k, chances are you're doing something wrong.

Still made me happier than seeing a Reegar though, so there's that. And the Human Engineer with Carnifex isn't the worst combo in the game either

You've never seen the Javelin Kroguard? It's a rare sight, but worth it, trust me

Turian Havoc with Scimitar. I've had so much fun with this combination lately. It's no way optimal or anything, but it's still a blast to play for two reasons. It's neither hard cheese nor frustratingly gimped (at least on gold. Haven't tried it on plat, which I suspect might be bit too much).  Secondly it syncs really well with Havoc's powers and compliments sort of a shock trooper-style of gameplay, which probably was what devs had in mind for this kit. As for consumables I go with Cyclonics / Incendiary for max efficiency, but Shields, Cryo and Disruptors have also been passable.

Sorry future and past teammates, im currently in a off-host Novaguard on gold phase,

I found out that for me SMG's and my brandnew Lancer X make the build work much better for me then other guns i tried.

i have to say that the biggest party poopers for me are groups of Hunters and Scion stunlock, sometimes rolling sideways is not fast enough.

I know I'm not doing things as effectively as some might.

And I know other weapons would do a better job on this kit.

 

But I decided that I should actually roll out (lolpun) the volus sent... So I strapped a venom on him, some cryo ammo, and an adrenaline mod.

So much fun, even if I'm not getting kills/damaging as much as I would with other kits.

Something fast, tanky and in your face with Graal. So Krogans and Batarians. Hip fire all but the most distant melons. Trust me.

 

PS - don't forget even slightly charging it seems to result in more dps even against bosses then rapid firing. Especially true when you factor reload time on this 3 shot weapon. So the name of the game is to use that extra 1 to 2 seconds to better line up head shots instead. Once you learn to develop that frantic but well calculated pace, is once you truly fall in love with the Graal.

If you upped the difficulty above Silver, then you would be doing nothing but tickle them with that gun.

I've used it with exactly the same setup on Gold, and it was horrible. There is no accounting for that gun, EVEN on the Valkyrie (Who I am now convinced is the penultimate Shotgun user, pfft to EDI, Warp IV with Warp+Annihilation Field is insane).

You're not pulling the trigger fast enough through their earhole. Adrenaline mod on PC I'm like Mohammed Ali. Biotic Explosion followed with rapid fire to the face tends to kill most humanoids quick except on-host phantoms on gold. I routinely top gold pugs with this but, I know... That doesn't really mean much. Bigger stuff goes down fast too, except Atluses.

Krysae tech burst Destroyer is something I'm currently toying with. I skip HML because you don't need it with the Krysae doing its thing. But with grenade capacity 5 and Rank 5a for MFG, I'm bringing 9 grenades to the party! AIRBURST ALL THE THINGS!
