AFAIK that was supposed to be in the exalted march expansion, which was scrapped.

They have refused to say anything about it so far, so you'll likely have to wait until october.

edit: i meant about a hawke appearance not the whole mage templar war thing

Not really. DA2 ends with the start of the Mage/Templar War, which is part of what DA:I is going to address. Hawke's actual role within that war was nebulous. Cassandra was interested in understanding how it started and whether the Champion might be able to stop it somehow, but ultimately what DA2 revealed was that Hawke was more like one person caught up within events she or he had no ultimate control over. Hawke was mostly reactionary and trying to get by, and no attempts he or she made to stop the chaos that was unfurling really had any ultimate impact. The true instigators of the war were Meredith and Anders, and thus searching for Hawke takes relatively low priority now.

yes varric changes Cassandra's mind on hawke but she still goes in search for him .

tho at the end cass and Lilliana say "hawke is gone , just like the warden. that's no coincidence"

is there more to the disappearances of these too than what we know ????

I don't really want to find Hawke, to be honest.

I wouldn't mind running into one of the sibling Hawkes in DA:I, though.

But I'm sure the chances of that happening are around 0%.

Try looking at the beach. If you're suddenly attacked by an armada of angry demon pirates, you know Hawke is nearby.

If there is a quest to find or meet up with hawke, then we might cross paths with the sibling, or charade. (Hopes)

Unlikely. Either sibling had a chance to be dead, along with the chance ofnthe other sibling to die in the Deep Roads. I don't know if Bioware would justify the resources involved just so they could bring back a sibling to reflect the my raid to Grey Warden/Circle Mage/Templar/Dead states for two characters which are such small parts of the franchise (one Act of the shortest game).

That's true. Still if they did do it, I would not mind it.

DA2 wasn't about the Arishok? :crying: But... but... he was the single greatest Character of the Game!

Now that I think about it, it would be nearly impossible to add them.

You also have to think about the different skin tones they could have.

Mysterious Adventurer

"During his first journeys, the Inquisitor kept encountering a strange, lone adventurer in uninhabitable lands.

The Inquisitor and Party knew that this Figure was following them. But How? Better yet, why?

The first appearance of the Stranger was in the ruins of Lothering. The air shifted, this was no ordinary stranger, he or she was more powerful than the inquisitor at the moment. They conversed "small talk" about the world, but when finished the Stranger gave the inquisitor powerful enchanted weapons. What is significant about these weapons is that they are the exact same weapons that were seen being used by the Champion of Kirkwall. Yet this stranger gave them up freely. Why?

The Stranger again made contact with the Inquisitor. When asked about the Champion he replied with heavy sarcasm. It seems as if the Stranger did not truly care for that title at all, however he said he was watching the inquisitor, and said 'depending on the Inquisitor's actions he might end up as a very powerful friend, or a dreadful foe'. When a wench interrupted, passing between them, the Stranger was gone.

The inquisitor ordered the spies to uncover and track movements of this stranger, but it was all proven fruitless

This Hooded Stranger encountered the Inquisitor again. They were both tracking the same quarry this time, a new local cult, spawned from the rebellions against the Circle, or were waiting for them. This newly surfaced organization was presently gathering at two locations, ready to unleash one of the Forbidden Ones, Imshael.

Without knowing which location this was to take place, they scattered to the two different points of interest. However, with all their haste they were too late. Imshael was released, and he had sundered the veil. The Inquisitor, and along with the party were actually physically sucked into the Fade. The deepest, darkest part of the Fade. These were the likes of which not even the Dreamers of Tervinter would dare slumber into. Voids of nightmares, filled only with fear, and despair.

The Inquisitor, along with his party were lost. They wandered the unknown voids, defeated horde after horde of monsters, and abominations, discovery new things, however they would all soon perish.

The Inquisitor did not clearly remember how the cloaked Figure saved them, but he brought them near the veil enough, were there was a huge vortex sucking in malignant spirits. The Cloaked Stranger gave them poultices, and salves, and all the potions they needed, then he vanished into the darkness of the Fade. As if that was were he belonged now.

The Inquisitor, along with companions amassed their courage, and prepared for glorious battle. With all their valor, they dove in.

When the Inquisitor was the only one left standing, and the party was almost annihilated, an arcane horror busted into the vortex, attempting to tear apart the Inquisitor, but in a flash of a blade, an arrow, or was it bolt, the Mysterious Hero ended the horror in an instant. It was as if this veteran had been doing this for a very long time. The Stranger did not stay, but instantly vanished back into the Fade, as if he had already overdone the part, for now.

After these events a Hooded Stranger was rumored in small settlements, that he was searching for something, same as the Inquisitor. However the difference was, he knew more, a lot more than the Inquisitor."

I doubt we'll ever go looking for Hawke or our Warden. Where they are and what they're up to is entirely up to the player as it should be.
