Do you guys think a romanced LI will get an optional new unique set of armor/clothes like in DA2? Would you want that?
Would you want something similar to the Citadel DLC in ME3, where you could spend some freetime with your loved one, or go on a date? Date sounds strange in the Dragon Age universe, if I think about it. But if commander Shepard had time during the apocalypse to go on a date, the inquisitor should have time for a lovely picnic with a nice view of a catastrophalic rift, I say.
Maybe not a date, because I don't see it fitting in Dragon Age personally. Something else, me no knows.
But as for the article of clothing, Yes! If I have an LI at the time.
I liked seeing Isabela and Fenris with the red cloth.

I'm not too fussed about optional armour sets- with customisation I think that's less of an important aspect than it was in DA2.
Something akin to Citadel would be lovely though, I really like the idea of getting to know the characters more deeply, outside of a life-or-death situation. Its interesting to find out how people spend their downtime, and I think it adds more depth. I would be very happy with something like that! ![]()

As long as it's not another Anders/Merrill. I hated their costume changes.

Anders changes outside of Romance though.
With his whole, I'm now edgy so I must wear all black :K

You know what i think itd be cool to have jewelry show up if you were romancing someone. Like a sign of love or something.

I think something subtle - like Fenris and his armband - is a cool feature. Just a visible sign the characters are together.

I haven't played the Citadel DLC - mostly because I just couldn't stomach ME3 after that ending - but it seems to me that this sort of content is better suited to a DLC.

Now that would be cute ![]()
It would be nice to have the companions be able to give the PC gifts again- not only for romance, perhaps as symbols of closeness and friendship ![]()

You, sir, are my new favorite virtual person ![]()
I doubt there will be an outfit change, since this time we can customize companion armor. On your other question, I wouldn't necessarily mind something like this, whether in a DLC or the main game:
Maybe a little less cheesy ![]()
I feel you, I immerse myself in my character, too. But a character's sexuality isn't worth getting frustrated over and calling out BW on it. The game is more than that, and romancing someone you didn't find initially attractive really isn't so bad...Bioware writes their characters in ways that make them fulfilling based on what their unique personalities and backgrounds can offer you.
When I introduced my friend to DA:O, despite being a mostly straight female, she was first really frustrated that her female Warden couldn't romance Morrigan, who she initially considered more way more attractive and interesting than Alistair/Zevran. But of course she got over it, and eventually romanced Alistair, and what do you know, she is now a huge fan of that pairing. Because Alistair turned out to be just as compelling in his own way. She wouldn't have realized that if Morrigan was conveniently bi and she had her way with her.
Relax, DAI is going to be good regardless of these people's sexualities...
I agree with you, and don't worry even if romances are not perfect for me in DA3 i will buy it and play it like crazy everyday, it's my top game of 2014 and I just bought a PS4 for DA3. This game is already my GOTY.
And when I played as a female for the trophies I really liked Alistair LI (Zevran was funny), it was weird for me but enjoyable. I hope Sera will be the same experience.

It'd be sweet to have some unique stuff. Maybe something you give them as gift and they wear? Or it could be other way too, LI's give you something visible that you wear.
I wouldn't certainly say no to date with LI ^^ Romance scenes has been quite small in DA games, I have enjoyed them but in DAO they were mostly talk and sex scene. DA2 had more variety but still mostly talk and sex scene. It'd be nice to actually do something else for the change, maybe go somewhere with LI and just have good time together ![]()

I like that idea, but if they let you break up and start dating others as freely as they did in DAO (Which I hope they do, the da2 system made me feel like I needed a cheat guide because one wrong moves messes up the relationship) I'll be going through everyone at least once in some playthroughs just so they all get the special outfits.

Yeah, but I never got it until I romanced him. :/
I still haven't finished that playthrough. Anders is way too messed up.
Merril's was weird mainly because it accentuated her freakishly long neck.
Mostly, I just hate the white. She looks a lot better in green.
Yeah, but I never got it until I romanced him. :/

Apparently it was originally planned for his face to change in Act 3 to represent that Justice was taking over, but it was dropped. I found that interesting to know.

I agree with everything you said, but DLC means I have to spend extra money and just

And I will spend that extra money if it's going to have fluff in it, that would be such an evil move from BioWare they are literally forcing me at gunpoint to buy that thing.
I am going to be so broke at the end of this year, I swear.

Oh god.
Do you reall thing a bunch of whiny babies crying over the one time they don't get to have the toy are going to impact EA in any way?
It impacted DA2 because a bunch of whiny babies cried about the game. A good game.
Realistically, I think people who support a system are far less likely to post in support of it than people who are against it are to post against it. This is why we see posts in favour of things that, before they were cut, people posted against.
While true, the problem with this is it all appeared out of the blue, literally within hours of Sera's announcement as a f/f only option. I understand that people have a tendency to argue against something than for it, but it's suspicious when it all strikes at once in this particular context.
Yeah, but I never got it until I romanced him. :/

Same here. Rain Hawke sits in the abyss of my only unfinished play through because of Anders.

Yesss Citadel DLC stuff. When you put it as a 'date', it might sound silly, but honestly that kind of content would make the relationship progression more realistic. Having two people spend time together that doesn't involve violently killing things..helps people bond lol
For that kind of stuff, they'd probably make a separate DLC for it, cause that's alot of resources. But still, ME3 kind of got it right, by having your squadmates ask to hang out with you on the Citadel for quaility time, or in the case of your LI, confirmation. It's about time they have a DA game where you actually get to spend time with your companions outside of battle armor.
Change how, exactly? Would he have looked more like Justice-as-Kristoff from Awakening? Or something else?Apparently it was originally planned for his face to change in Act 3 to represent that Justice was taking over, but it was dropped. I found that interesting to know.

If you ever do get around to finishing it I'd recommend a rivalmance with him, at least you get to argue with him and turn his view point slightly before all hell breaks loose oh and your able to warn someone about the freaking bomb he planted even if they don't do **** about it
I'm not crazy about the guy but I do like his rivalmance.
Change how, exactly? Would he have looked more like Justice-as-Kristoff from Awakening? Or something else?
If I recall correctly it was suppose to look more sunken in like he was wasting away due to the effects of possession and the taint.
