Change how, exactly? Would he have looked more like Justice-as-Kristoff from Awakening? Or something else?
I WISH I COULD SEE ROTTING CORPSE ANDERS.
That would have been awesssoome

Would you want something similar to the Citadel DLC in ME3, where you could spend some freetime with your loved one, or go on a date? Date sounds strange in the Dragon Age universe, if I think about it. But if commander Shepard had time during the apocalypse to go on a date, the inquisitor should have time for a lovely picnic with a nice view of a catastrophalic rift, I say.
I would like to go to a date with my LI. Maybe walking in a forest or you could combine work and time with your LI for example you would have to go somewhere to check something and you could only take one person with you and when you are doing that thing you could have some time together. I believe there are bars in DAI so why couldn't you just go drink some beer with your LI for example.
Same here. Rain Hawke sits in the abyss of my only unfinished play through because of Anders.
My Merrill playthrough is also unfinished. Massacring all those elves was emotionally deadening. (;_・)
Mostly, I just hate the white. She looks a lot better in green.
I thought she looked pretty in it, but green was definitely her color, yes.
If I recall correctly it was suppose to look more sunken in like he was wasting away due to the effects of possession and the taint.
I'm... glad they changed their minds.

Damned shame that didnt make it into the game.
I feel like people would have liked Anders a lot more if it was more apparent that he was completely losing himself.

You know thats avoidable, right?
I already know I'm going to mod romances if possible sera with my male inquisitor is a must for me.

Yeah, but I didn't know that my first time. My Hawke in that playthrough was aggressive/direct anyway, so it'd be out of character for her to pick those options.

So, you want to convert a lesbian.
All right.

You can either blame Merrill in dialogue, or leave Sundermount immediately (by taking the right path after heading down the Sundermount mountain to the nearest exit) to avoid massacring the entire Sabrae clan. It's also a bit odd that everyone tries to kill you, including Arianni; that simply made no sense to me, especially after all your character has done for her son.

Which is why I like his rivalmance since it does kind of show that he is loosing himself to Justice but showing him wasting away really would have added to that.
Makes me wonder if we're going to see any of our companions wearing down in a similar fashion, mostly Blackwall since he is an older Grey Warden and is getting close to his calling (i think) so it would be interesting to see how the taint is effecting him in that manner.

I...didn't know that.
All those times I could have prevented a massacre ![]()
I also don't know why the rest of the clan would try to kill you considering they had no idea what happened on the mountain top.

Either way, having to go through the trauma of killing them all the first time kind of took the energy out of me to complete that playthrough. And really, I'm only missing the brief scene after beating Orsino with her, right?

If i recall correctly, the correct response is "I will handle her myself".
Which is pretty damned neutral to me.

It seem pretty forced. Like they suddenly thought, "We need some kind of arbitrary punishment if you pick the wrong Dialog Choice".
Huh. I actually like the 'Anders going dark-side' look. At least it would fully embrace (a la a physical manifestation) the tragedy of his predicament and not gloss it over with hopeless promises of future babies & a life on the run.
.......dear gawd, just give us one light-hearted romance in DAI.

She's really protective of Merrill, and pretty much hates everyone but her, so...
I...didn't know that.

My Champion romanced Merrill, and it was OOC for him to blame Merrill in that confrontation, since he didn't see it as her fault. I found it as a solution to avoid blaming her and killing everyone in the clan.

I thought that was really weird, too. It's not like this is Scanners, after all.

Isabela was pretty light-hearted, wasn't she? And I mean, Zevran... kind of? Alistair? I don't think all DA romances have been crushingly depressing.

That's ok, I didn't need my heart today.... ;A;

Seriously, im pretty sure you can just say "I will handle Merrill myself" to avoid both blaming her, and slaughter.
Aren't there 3 options? Blame Merrill, Say you'll handle yourself, or say it was the Keepers fault.
Only one option instigates the murder.

Specifically I'm referring to the last game & the male options (I don't romance females). And don't get me wrong - I loved Fenris - but DA2 made me miss the levity of Alistair and Zev, that's for sure!

Merrills wasn't exactly dark either. Not by the end anyway.

I think Hawke says something like, "I will make sure Merrill never hurts anyone else with her blood magic."
You put the blame on Merrill and her blood magic. It's out of character for lots of my Hawkes...especially the blood mage one ![]()

The paraphrased line comes out verbally different, since Hawke verbally blames Merrill; similar to the written line that reads that Elthina is "useless", where Hawke will verbally say "Get out of my way!" instead. As I said, I don't like blaming Merrill in that scene, since I don't think she was at fault.
