...please do not tell me the english Male Inq is Gamlen. Please.
Timothy Watson who played Gamlen also played Teagan and those voices are pretty different. I don't think he's confirmed but everyone seems to thinks it's him.

About a Dwarven Inquisitor, I have no idea. It's why I tend to focus more on a hypothetical Dalish than the Dwarven or Tal-Vashoth, as I haven't heard much about the backgrounds.
I thought the British voice for the male Inquisitor was already spoken on the Inquisitor trailer?
Ah. I'm just going off what I can recall offhand *shrugs*
It is that's why I'm confused.

As the english VA? I didn't like the bit of the american one I heard in the dwarf Inq vid =/ Though I would not have figured he played Teagan XD okay not so concerned anymore.
Lol, are you joking ? Of course he's in it because he was popular, there's even a tweet from I dont know if it was Schumacher, Gaider or someone else that state something like this.
I have literally stated in this thread the completely opposite perspective. Please feel free to reread my posts.
There are 2 voice options
I don't want my different Inquisitors sharing voices. I was going to give English accents to my male human and female elf Inquisitors, and American accents to my male elf and female qunari Inquisitors. (´_`)

I thought I saw mentioned that the VA for the male Inq. from the trailers was someone BW hadn't used before?
Oooh reading that has me hopeful that maybe the romance will auto shutdown if you pick certain choices? And not just "you have to pick X amount of choices they disagree with" factor.
Though I would like an approval bar simply so I know where I stand if I leave the game for a while and come back to it. I hate being completely "Uh...what was I doing?" in JRPGs before I eventually throw my hands up and restart.
Stuff like that has me very worried unless they make it clear that you two are over that is, I'd rather not spend time trying to keep romancing someone that broke up with my PC without both of us knowing about it ![]()
I prefer the approval bar for many reasons and that being one of them I have restarted so many games so many times because I forgot what the heck I was suppose to be doing cause I put them on the side for too long >>

Some "British Actor over the age of 35" supposedly

Well I assume they'd give you an auto "I don't think we're right for one another" speech after you made said choice so you don't get completely blindsided.
And yeah that's another reason an approval bar would be nice.
It has to do with animations being too hard.
I want all the romance options to be Bisexual, but its just not going to happen.
Noooooooo. That has more impact on things like race gating. Representation, however, is something different (and something I know I value a lot more).
Sera was made a lesbian because we wanted to make her a lesbian.

for all female races right!?
...or atleast human and elf lol

Okay, I might have started something based on rumours and LIES. I think I originally saw the info on the Wiki page (yes I know...) then looked him up, then did a search for Timothy Watson + Inquisitor and read what seemed to be people a bunch of people saying. "Yup, definitely him!", then I listened to the trailer and thought the voices could definitely be the same person (albeit performed differently then Gamlen/Teagan) and only NOW have I gone back to my original source to find it has been removed. I should have just checked for a source the first time I looked.
So here we are.. could be him but it probably isn't because like I said, I know nothing.

So long as they tell me up front then I'll be good I just don't want to be dumped but them not mention anything till after a while. Though that makes me wonder would that only effect them with choices they were there for or big choices in general even if you leave them back at the keep? Cause in DA2 you don't suffer anything with freindship or rivalry if you leave your Follower at home but in some cases of DAO you can still loose approval even if he you that follower at the camp.
Maybe they're will be one just more hidden or one but it doesn't pop up a 'approve +10' and you just have to check it once in a while but thats just me being foolishy hopeful :3

I would be very upset if I got dumped without the chance to be pathetic and scream "NOOOO! Take me back! I love you! I'll change for you! Pleee-heee-eeeeeeze...... *sob* "
My Inquisitor, like myself will have no self-respect ![]()

I shall quick save b4 every convo lol
Well, Bioware apparently has the VAs record the entire script for both genders, so that's not true. It's why you have hilarious ME1 dialogue with Meer reading the FShep lines in the Liara romance, I believe.
Everyone needs to hear MShep protest - in his usual bland tone - that he's a woman at least once in their life.
I actually don't know if this is still the case or if that was just a function of ME's development process (I never worked on ME). Are there mismatched lines for DA2?

Pfft I'll be quick saving every 30 seconds. Theres no way I want to get stuck loosing an awesome party member due to a choice that I may not even feel that strongly about.
Now I have this horrible feeling that there is no way that we'll be able to actually keep all of our party members no mater what one way or another we will loose some I hope I am wrong, very VERY wrong.

I doubt that'll be the case. BioWare hasn't done anything like that in the past - unless you count Bethany and Carver - so we should be fine.
so you play a set way every single time? You really don't understand the definition of role playing if that's the case.
Lets not get into a semantics war of what is or is not the "correct" way to play an RPG. Thanks.
Just a small interjection from a German native speaker you aren't 'schadenfreude' but you are 'schadenfreudig'. 'Schadenfreude' is a noun, the corresponding adjective was never Germanized.
Actually I missed the word "much" now that I look at it -> "... how much schadenfreude ..."

So you've never witnessed this process of both the male and female VAs recording every line just to make sure nothing is missed? What I mean to ask is, as far as you are aware, is this not standard procedure for Bioware games (or video games in general)?

Or Alistair and Loghain or Anders and Sebastian, but I know what you mean, though even if its one party member I'll stare at the screen and whine like a puppy for a few minutes cause I have to have everyone all the time, but so long as we don't loose half of our party as mandatory I'll be quite peachy.
When I click on quote, no quote appears in my text box to edit. Like I am now apparently "replying directly" to JobacNoor's post (I clicked on "quote" in the bottom left corner of the post) and all I see is my text.. Something is afoot.
There's issues with Internet Explorer.
Alternatively you can put what you want within [ quote] tags (it's what I often do when I only want to respond to a slice).

I know it happened for ME1. I don't know if it happened for DA2 (or continues to happen)
