Iron Bull confirmed as LI apparently. 

I should be exicted like a puppy about this but I don't know about his voice actor not sure I'll be too thrilled with that :/  Dont' get me wrong I'm excited if he's an actual romance and not a fling but I'm kind of shallow and I love a good voice and I'm feeling mixed on one hand I'm 'YESH WOO HOO IRON BULL YAY  " and on the other hand I'm "Meh" about his voice actor. Still sounds like a fun guy that I'll be happy to have a playthrough with but the voice worries me in the shallowest meaningless way possible *shrugs*

His facial hair is terrible. But then, I think all facial hair is intolerable, unless we're talking about 1 days worth of scruff. 

 

 

I like a bit of a goatee, but I think the 'stache suits Dorian.  I think he would look rather generic without it.  

 

Fair point about the devs. They do seem to have totally ignored her. Qunari romances, despite being decried as "fetishy" are in, so obviously that isn't a problem for Bioware. They just don't seem to even want to include female dwarves for... reasons? 

 

I have no idea why there is no female dwarves in any main BW game.  Sure, we got Sigrun in Awakening, but I don't understand why she's the exception.  I thought she was a very well written character, especially for an expansion.  To be honest, I thought she was a more thought-out character and a lot more fun than Anders in that game.   What's funny is that in every fantasy BW game (that has the usual Tolken races,) there has been a male dwarf companion.  I'm going through the list and in any main game (non-expansion,) we've had one.

 

Speaking of which, I'm still hoping that Varric is a LI.  Since both Qunari and dwarven romances were considered "fetishy," and it looks like one of them is in, perhaps the Varric fans got fortunate and have him available as a romance.

We don't know who all is available at this point, so you can't get more women if they haven't announced the LIs yet.  

 

I apologize if Cassandra (a common vote for the straight LI,) Vivienne or "Scribbles" isn't to your taste, since those indeed are the remaining ladies among the main cast that could be a LI.

More straight men need to pester developers on twitter. Well, straight guys are not as common on twitter, so you may need to pick up the slack.

 

Although pretty sure straight guys options are Cassandra, Vivienne, and Scribe girl.

i have no problem, if its difficult to romance him, as long as it's possible...on the contrary, I'd find it really interesting to persuade him with some effort. but just a fling would be sad...

Human and Qunari.  Dwarf I think is out due to the technical limitations.  I think elves are out too.  I'm not saying that all elves are super fragile, however I think they fall into the "people he can break" category.  I think that Varric is going to be available for humans and dwarves.  I don't think the rest of the LIs (especially the gay option and Sera) are going to be race gated.

Fair enough.  We're all waiting for more information.   This is gonna be a long summer.  Now, if it makes you feel any better, they announced all the LIs for DA2 a few weeks before the game came out.  If nothing else, we should have all the LI information by September.  It would suck if we had to wait that long, but even then it should give you time to decide if any of the ladies are right for you.

We should be careful with the word "fair."  The devs did state that not all romances and races were to be distributed equally.  Personally, I think it's balanced to leave elves open to everyone but IB and Varric.

 

 

Varric flat out says in DA2 he's not into human women though who knows if Bioware will actually stick to this.
