DISCLAIMER: I haven't read the books

Cole may be child-minded but that doesn't mean he acts exactly like a child and shouldn't be thought of one.  The consent issues that surround a spirit are slightly different to a childs and cannot simply be considered to be the same.  For instance, Justice is perfectly capable and aware of the repurcussions of killing people, his prerogative is justice after all, but that doesn't mean he can consent to sex, something to which he, as a spirit, probably has no innate understanding of.  That's why Cole is allowed to kill.  As far as I know, Cole is a spirit - the wiki says he is - not an adult being who lives on the plane of mortals.  You can't project the idea of adulthood onto a beings who don't experience time.

TL:DR As far as I can tell from a quick read up, Cole isn't human, he's a spirit.  The adult-child understanding of consent does not apply.

BIG fan.

Yeah, it was creepy, but at least they acknowledged it. Piper's always really creeped out whenever he talks about stuff like that. But you can't deny they were very good together.

As much as I enjoyed the show growing up they were good together in the beginning seasons later it just turned into Leo abuse from everyone though all the Charmed ones turned into selfish shrews after a while. When they need to learn the same lesson over and over and over and never actually follow through with it  I think its time for them to split. Though I did enjoy them in the beginning season just not the later ones.

Though we're wavering a bit off topic it seems^^;

I've explained before and recently in his thread, but I think a more accurate description of Cole's thought process is alien. He's just not human and he doesn't understand the human world. I think he's capable of grasping the concepts of right and wrong, or knowing what decisions he wants to make for himself, but he doesn't appear to have a sense of sexuality, as far as we've seen of him. So, the idea of him as a LI is likely moot.

He looks like a zombie, but between him or Iron Bull, on a purely physical basis, I'd take my chances with the undead.  :?

We may have had conversations with Wild Flower, but it was the Heavenly Guardian who did all the fighting. There was no eight-year-old girl merrily slaughtering her way through White Lotus assassins.

Indeed, tis why I said I found it alright -- being that she never engaged in killing and didn't know what happened when the spirit took over -- and it's why for Cole it really depends on how he's characterized and fleshed-out.  Beyond Gaider saying "he's mentally like a child," and that Cole is actually a spirit, there's not  enough for me to go on.   Is it an Anders/Justice relationship, where the possessing spirit takes over the body and that is who is doing the killing/combat?  Or is Cole really just a spirit that wants to believe he's human?

Spoiler

It was market as a romcom, honestly its not bad pretty funny, though there are a lot of creepy things with it (but for the most part the female lead acts like a person would with stuff like this) And the lead looks nothing like a zombie none of them do which sucks :/

Edit: Changed pictures to one that might show up and has a much more awful tag line :D

Yes yes there is. Didn't know about the movie though D: (wait it's the same story I think just looked it up and yes Warm Bodies was a book first).

They don't sleep together and to be fair she is really freaked out about having a zombie drag her off and scared and confused. If i remember correctly they don't even kiss until close to the end.

Along with books and movie there are at least two songs about Zombie love not sure how I forgot about that xD

Cole is mostly a mystery, but I think the implications are that either it's a Justice/Kristoff situation, or Cole is just a spirit in his own form. It's implied that Cole the human child died and only his memories remain with Cole the spirit. If he is possessing the body it could kind of explain the zombie look, though.

*shudders* what would a zombie DA romance even look like? (also what's the chances it just ends up being a mance with a demon who didn't even bother to inhabit a living body).

I don't know about the book, but in the movies the zombie guy starts reverting back to human as the story goes on. By the end he's cured of his zombie-ness.. by LOVE.  :(

Cole is mostly left a mystery in Asunder. It's never totally clear what he is. So, I assume it will mostly be explained in Inquisition and we all wont be far off page.

If I recall correctly she doesn't mostly do to not having a weapon and watching most of her group being eaten alive so she's in shock at least that's how I saw it. I'd be paralyzed with fear too if I saw that and some zombie found me in my hiding spot and started rubbing blood all over me.

Similar to the Alistair and genlock love scene from the DAO bloopers? Or where you raise  your zombie LIs affection by finding the limps they loose and getting them brand new ones?

That's somehow even more vomit inducing than her dating a corpse.

NOPE NOPE NOPE would be how I was going. Seriously he falls in love with her at first sight and drags her off? That doesn't even start to make any sense.

XD The only zombie mance that would ever make sense to me is if they were lovers before one of them turned and the other really couldn't let go. Complete with a basement, chains, and dragging random poor smucks down to be eaten.

If they were gonna start with the wtf of a romance with a zombie they could at least have the decency to take that trainwreck to it's rightful conclusion.

That's good to know if DA wasn't a game so big on choices and if I had money I'd most likely buy the books but it would feel weird reading something like that at least to me it would ^^; I just hope he isn't another Justice that spirit creeped me out at least the one in Wynne wasn't popping out every few minutes like Justice did.

It could.  I haven't read the books, but I followed some discussions in the past.  Is his invisibility caused by his blood magic?  Or maybe Cole is actually a shade that has grown powerful enough to manifest on his own, feeding off the psyches of those wishing merciful deaths (a la the mercy killings in the book)?  Questions, questions.  Tis why I say it's hard to judge for now.
