Don't knock it till you try  it is all I'm saying xD

Hey at least they don't glitter in the sun.

That would be cool but I could see a lot of people coming out asking why they couldn't have a cross class like he did so it would be safer to stick to one class for him I think.

Bah. I've never had my foot run over by a car either yet I know it's undesirable :P

lmao why did you remind me of that. The sad thing is the first book isn't that bad. It's when she hits her angst fest in New Moon that I kind of facepalmed.

True but I'd prefer the companions had their own specializations that the PC couldn't get (and vice versa honestly).

..............................................I have no words for that aside from I'm glad I didn't run into it.

Yep and couldn't even save anyone :(

Hello Allan, I am Jarin martin from Australia and I am a fellow bioware though not a screaming fanatical fan at that, I will say that most can agree after the debacles in the past 5 years, bioware does need to earn back the respect of the gamers. I agree with most that it is somewhat...restrictive with the romances and what not but I can see your point that it's not final and that you're trying to make good with inquisition. Still I'm here to discuss inquisition's romances. To me with the reveal of sera being made into a female only romanceable was gutting to hear really because sure I appreciate how you people at bioware are making inquisition into something we can look forward to and I'm not trying to be sexist or anything else but I feel that the ratio of characters has been slightly unbalanced. I feel in my opinion that with only 3 female companions with 5 confirmed male companions, usually I don't mind this but it's sera. By making sera a female only romance, it has spooked many, even me because the option of having a male inquisitor not able to romance the only quirky female, it is unsettling for most. My opinion would be to make her bi and give players that opportunity to romance her as a male. I just think that leaving male inquisitors with just 2 women that are either too serious and the other like a stuck up prune, it messes with the romance, honestly I agree that it is good to have gay and straight characters for the entire mix but it is characters like sera and varrics that are the counter balance purely because of their witty and playful personalities and by limiting how players can romance them can seriously mess with the romance and that is well...very much unfixable. I just am saying that only make sera bi not anyone else but still what is done is done and I'm not trying to change minds. Sorry if this came off offensive in any way :)

Its probably not going to change. They've been working on Inquisition for a long time so Sera is likely to be lesbian in the final game. I get that a lot of guys are bummed out about it, but what's done is done. Not all of the romance options are confirmed by Bioware yet. The game also isn't out yet either so we don't know exactly how the romances are going to turn out.

Well I'm not going to try and change your mind about it only reason I saw it at all was my mother making me I'm not a big fan of romance movies comedy or otherwise. :)

I couldn't get very far in the book myself though that was due mostly to the other girls in my highschool never shutting up about it and just making it sound so awful while they were praising it. (plus I was into vampires before it was cool *puts on hipster glasses*)

I like companions having their own specializations but them being able to be two classes at once would seem odd and would make me a little jealous :P Though I did like in DA2 all your companions had a specialization unique to them. (aside from Junior or Sunshine)

I hate quests like that were you can't even try to save everyone but most of the time I"m a bleeding heart type despite knowing I couldn't save everyone all the time.

She really is.

But zombie? I thought her dirty secret was she caused one not that she was one.

Ah fair enough :P

I was morbidly curious enough to read it and I found a copy (Of twilight and new moon) just laying in the gym. Whatever poor soul left it behind wasn't my problem. /terrible person

True. Rogue/Mage would be the most hilariously broken class though. And yes I did like they had unique specializations. Though Merrill still should've been able to do a basic heal at least.

I like at least having the option to save people. Even if I choose not to take it.

Lady Grey is just a human in Fable, it's actually Fable II where you can bring her back as a zombie and marry her. I didn't clarify correctly. lol

In Fable 2 you can reanimate her and marry her.

As do I though I'm always conpulsed to take it especially when the person needs saving is a more 'broken' type of character I always want to protect them for some reason like Dog/God in FO:NV Dead Money DLC restarted the whole thing so I didn't have to fight him cause I just felt so protective of him. Though I would like some followers to call me out for being such a bleeding heart would be kind of fun.

Anyone think that we're going to have any romances that end up with your LI leaving you or dying, or it just ending badly in general?

I think it's likely that some LIs could leave or die if you make the wrong choices, but I don't know if there will be unavoidable instances of it.

Oh yeah Fable 2. The one they never released on PC  *grumbles*

Yeah I tend to do the protect all living things PC they're usually my first ones. Gonna switch that up in DAI and do my douchecanoes first.

They did something like that in DAO though with Morrigan she leaves no matter what even if you're in a romance with her though then they put out the Witch Hunt DLC, so I don't think it would be that far fetched that they might do something like that again could be pretty interesting actually (though with my luck it'll be with the character I like the most)

I heard if you have kids with her they look Indian but never did so I have no clue.

I try to be a jerk in first playthroughs otherwise I just get to attached and can't be a jerk to a certain character cause I like them too much ^^;

Morrigan epilogue ditches you, but I think that post was more about them leaving you mid-game.

Oh^^; well I just meant an unavoidable thing with my initial post like Morrigan since we know that we can end up with only one companion by the end of the game so it seems moot to speculate about that. I meant something more along the lines of what happened with Morrigan, Thane, and Jacob. Well maybe not Jacob that would p*ss me off to no end if something like that happened ahead -unless- your LI straight up tells you that they're not the type to stay with just one person or something along those lines.

Aren't zombies and vampires closely related anyway? They're both re-animated corpses. Vampires just stave off the, uh, decay via drinking blood.

Vampires also really like counting too so thats another difference (not joking either, its in old vampire lore that if you put a jar of seeds or anything outside your door the vampire will stop and count every last one and won't stop until they've counted them all)

That varies widely depending on the internal mythology of the given setting you're dealing with.

But yes, sex with vampires is necrophilia.

Well, it's a little different with vampires than with corpses, though.

I doubt we'll be getting any zombie or vampire or demon or spirit romances so I don't think anyone has to worry about it :D

Yeah but a zombie can cross running water and come into your house uninvited.

I found an Anti-Vampire tactic then.

A jar with this many seeds, if they could count one seed every second, would take 25.278 hours. They would be burned by the sun before they were even halfway done. :P

From what I recall from cultural anthropology courses, zombies/vampires were essentially the same thing in old European folklore. I remember reading retellings of old legends and vampires sounding an awful lot like zombies; mindless, shambling creatures that would come up from the grave to devour you. Bram Stoker's Dracula changed all that.

They'd do it too trying to count as they burn alive. At least according to one of my lore books they do :P Plus they would take each seed out and set it down too old school vampires have some kind of OCD thing going on so they wouldn't get close to finishing that jar :D

May we move away from zombies and vampires and back onto the original topic?
