So anyone think we'll have an LI that will have a child endgame if you slept with them even once like Morrigan in DAO?

Bioware said no on that in a tweet.

Well, ignoring the whole "they can die" thing, nothing about unavoidable bad endings.

Yeah I usually ignore that when I ask since it's kind of obvious you can lose your LI in a fashion like that. Whelp looks like most of the questions I have for romances are getting answered ![]()

They wouldn't tell us if they were planning an Old God Baby 2.0.

That reminds me I have feeling that anyone who has a save where they romanced Morrigan put in that she's going to have a child unless they also ask if you slept with her or not, since she gets pregnant either way, would be odd if you had a warden that slept with her and she didn't have a child. Makes me wonder where she put it while she's in Orlais.

Hogwart's Day Care Center, where else? ![]()
Honestly, I think the child probably has a nanny/guardian when Morrigan isn't around and is safe somewhere away from the bulk of the fighting.

Considering all the bad stuff that happens at that school not really a safe choice but she did learn from Flemeth. ![]()
Most likely, I don't expect to see it or for Morrigan to mention it to the PC since she has no reason to tell them and they have no reason to ask but it would be nice if they snuck in a little mention of it somewhere like maybe Leilana asks her about it but not even sure how she would know about it either especially if its an OGB.

Maybe Leliana just notices Morrigan being wistful when it comes to children, and comments on it. That'd be enough for me.

Haha, I know a blooper reel has been discussed among QA. At this point though I'm not aware of any plans outside of that and they didn't strike me as more than just musings.
If you can remember after release, link this thread and ask me and I'll tell you what the REDACTED was

Bioware is pretty progressive, but I doubt that they're going to go there with men getting pregnant, or lesbian magical pregnancies.
All I know is that my Inquisitor is not getting knocked up.

I do want lesbian magical pregnancies, though.

I remember reading that a magical lesbian pregnancy was on the table at one point with Morrigan, but they decided it would be too convoluted to explain.

Maybe Old God Baby can hook up with Old God Baby 2.0 in a future DA game for the fanfiction fodder.

Yeah that would be weird. I don't blame them for not doing that.

I do. I very much wish that Morrigan had been a bisexual option.

From what I remember, I'm not sure they actually implied that Morrigan would have actually been bisexual or a f/f full LI when they said it. They said they thought about allowing women to do the DR with Morrigan, but I don't think they necessarily intended it to be an act of sexual attraction. I think it was just meant to be an act of convenience.

Shame, it probably would have been much easier to convince Alistair to let you do that..."Can I watch?".....that's obviously a joke, before someone jumps on me for being *insert reason here*

Morrigan was an o/s option only I was just wondering if one of the LIs could get pregnant like she did not all. Also for the bolded of your part blood magic could help with that

I'd think CREATION. Haha.
But they don't explain how they were going to do it. Coming up with an explanation that made sense seems to be why they didn't.

Haha, I am aware, I just was responding from the perspective of someone who whose characters will (most likely) never get anybody else pregnant because they're all female. And while I love and cherish my real life kid, the idea of being pregnant in a video game isn't appealing.
I wouldn't mind at all playing a character who already has a child who is old enough to interact with one day, but I don't get the appeal of the idea of impregnating a love interest during the timeline of a game. For me it was a stressful, tiring, itchy experience, and my (now ex) husband tells me that I was forgetful, weepy, and hungry pretty much the whole time. I can see how that could be funny, but I don't know how dramatic or appropriate it would be for a game like Dragon Age.

I know since I usually play female, and I know it's because of playing a lot of harvest moon that I'd buy a female PC being pregnant while fighting like I bought Morrigan fighting while she was pregnant. I'm not saying I want to have kids mid game it was just more of a question if something like that would happen similar to Morrigan which was in the ending slides. Though what I really would like is just talking about things like kids or family life or little things like that more with your followers would give you a chance to shape your character in game some if you want and help make the followers feel a little more real.
