Naw, any girl who is bald isn't beautiful in my eyes. Women at least should have short hair like Cass(unless of illness). i just don't want a girl with hair shorter than mine.

Are you unable to appreciate beauty because of personal dislikes? Miley Cyrus for instance has a horrible hairdo and acts very obscene but is still very beautiful even if not to my likes.

I haven't had a character yet that I'd consider a "true love" type. I mean, even accounting for guys that weren't gated for me, nobody stands out that much as being super special and appealing, to me. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the romances with Zevran, Anders and Kaidan. They were all great in their own ways. I just haven't had anyone stand out yet as an overwhelming favorite.

I don't mind baldness on men or women, they just have to be able to rock it right for my taste. Some can, and some can't. But I pay much more attention to facial features in general than hair. I also know a lot of people hate Sera's hairstyle but I don't really mind it at all.

Guess I just have a weakness for beards then that and stubble   Though I have no idea when it happened since I used to dislike facial hair on men just changed one day I guess.

I have a thing about bald men... and facial hair (when it's done right, of course)..when you have both...oh boy, I drool all the way off.

But something in solas turns me off...and it's the fact of being an elf. That's the fatal flaw, I cannot tolerate elves, even a bald elf is a no-no for me. I don't mind viv though, I think she looks ok, even being a bald lady.

I agree that can be a wondering combo if pulled off right but I can't say I'm attracted to it, its attractive but I'm not attracted to it mostly because my mother's ex who I grew up around was a bald man with a beard  well goatee mostly but still counts.

If I may ask what is it about elves that you find unattractive?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I've enjoyed BioWare romances since the days of bratty Anomen 14 years ago.  The only romance that I really enjoyed on a more personal level rather than a character roleplay level is that of Garrus.  It hit the right notes for me.  Respect, growing into love, soldiers and equals, sentimentality without going overboard into melodrama, always a foundation of solidarity.  As far as women go, I haven't found one in a BioWare game yet that I've enjoyed on that level.  For all the many women LIs they've made... heh.  I had hopes for Jack, but that went horribly, horribly wrong.  I've not had a m/m or f/f relationship hit the right spot either.  So I get you, believe me.  Something will come along one day.

Good question huldra, I dunno, maybe is the stereotype of elves: skinny, delicate, pointy ears that drives me off....on every fantasy setting I don't use the elf race if I can avoid it. Even in warcraft III, with the awesome Illidan, with all those tattoos and muscles, is still a turn off to me. Totally subjective, and maybe without logic as you can see.

At least elves does not exist on real life

I liked the Bastila romance in Kotor for one simple reason and that is the line. "Shut up and kiss me you fool." Loved it ha ha.

My favorite has been Carth's. Hand's down. No one else in all of Bioware-dom would let me call them a Gamorean pig man and still kiss me later.

Alistair was close, but he would pout if you got too snarky.

Beauty is perceptive and Miley isn't bald.

I think one reason Carth was so good is that David asked women's opinions on what they wanted IIRC. They said they wanted to be able to tease/verbally jab the guy and not end the romance.

He gives as good as he gets too.

And I always have to remind myself that Atton wasn't Bioware, because his was damn good too.

I like stubble (though, that's mostly a self-confidence thing probably...I have stubble 12 hours after shaving), but I don't like long beards like Blackwall's. I'm fine with short beards for the most part, but once it gets to generic Hawke length I'm out.

It's interesting that some of you are less picky in RL than in video games-- I feel like I'm the opposite. I'm much more picky about the qualities I find attractive in real people, but in video games, I'm all about personality and character. I'm not into heavily bearded men in RL, but I would jump on the chance to romance Blackwall in DA:I. I'm not into beefy dudes at ALL, but I'd totally try an IB romance, etc etc.

I don't think I'm that picky about people in real life or game life though having never dated anyone I could be picky and just not realize it^^; Last guy in RL I found myself attracted to enough to try and ask out was a stockier guy with a short beard (shame he thought I was 14) course I've only notice two constants that have come into factor about people I find attractive, voices and eyes. I'm a sucker for both in RL or in video games   still can't wait to try and do a Blackwall and Iron Bull playthrough if possible.

The less said about Jack, the better. I initially found her character alluring - despite not necessarily being physical my type (though I kind of liked the tatoos) - but once it went into the healing **** direction, I pretty much just had to scream "ABORT! ABORT!" and acid burn all of my saves off my hard drive (after, of course, bleaching my brain).

Being picky sucks. I'm pretty picky IRL, although I kind of really wish I wasn't. It just leads to being single for really long periods of time.

While I enjoy hairy dudes and a good beard, my brother has the bald head and beard look, so for me personally, head hair is mandatory.

Being less picky sucks more. Don't apologize for having standards, but also don't complain about being single for long periods of time because people will just hate you and tell you to not be picky.

Hopefully they just don't know his backstory? :/ I mean, if I was just going by looks and didn't know anything about him, I would probably wonder if he was a romance. Yeah, he's a little sick-looking, but he doesn't look like a Kristoff-esque corpse.

Edit: I've got pretty hard-core dark circles under my eyes, so I don't mind the sick look. I relate to it, haha.
