Me ether, I'd love to chance to go with him like you can with Sten and whatnot even if you aren't romancing him, It's just that this is a romance thread so I figured that'd be more related. Even if it's just a slide at the end that says "With the deaths of -insert name of dead magisters we killed in game-, it was easier for Magister Dorian and -insert either just the inquisitors name or 'his love the inquisitors name'- to work against the corrupted elites of his home country"

So far I've only read of the 2 confirmed yet. Cassandra and Cullen so far. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Varric!

Cassandra and Cullen are confirmed as romances. Sera is confirmed as a romance as well, except just for female characters.

My guesses are Cassandra, Cullen, Sera, Blackwall, Iron Bull, Vivienne, Dorian, Varric and Scribbles. Maybe Solas, but I doubt it.

Bioware said there will be more LIs than either of the other Dragon Age games, so at least 6.

It was said there would be LI in DAI than in any previous Dragon Age title. So, definitely more than four. Perhaps more than five, if you count Sebastian. I'm thinking closer to eight, myself. Prior to the reveal of race-restrictions, I would have said six.

 

My thoughts are: Cullen, Cassandra, Sera, Dorian, the Iron Bull, Varric, Vivienne, "Scribbles", Solas.

My guess (not my preference, but what I expect) is this:

 

Straight/Bi Female: Cassandra

Straight/Bi Female: Vivienne/Scribbles

Lesbian Female: Sera

Straight Male: Cullen

Bi Male: Iron Bull

Gay Male: Dorian

 

In total 6 romances.

I haven't read anything about Scribbles, can someone link me a pic or something about Scribbles? Also Solas looks like Nick Cage I'm not so sure if that makes him more endearing to me or not, but I'll give it a try if it's possible.

We don't really know anything about her other than she's an adviser. Don't even know her actual name, hence calling her Scribbles.

I guess that's why I can't find to much info on her. I really do hope Varric is romanceable! I wonder if not only it will be sexuality specific but race specific? Like Iron Bull can only romance Qunari and Varric will only romance Dwarves. Either way I can not wait till October.

I personally feel there's a decent chance Varric will be an LI.

 

Anders, Cullen, Garrus and Tali were all brought back in sequels and as LIs.

I wonder if we'll get a male Bi LI that seems to prefer the company of men more to women, since most of the Bi LI's seem to prefer women in past games, Zeveran, Isabela, Leliana. At least it seemed to me that they preferred women though I can't speak for Anders, Fenris or Merrill since I don't do Male Hawke playthroughs very often and when I do them I usually romance Merrill (never romanced her with a female hawke before) So I might be seeing something in nothing, and running on little sleep could make me lack in sense so I apologize if I'm just spitting out gibberish right now. Guess those three stood out in my mind for some reason when I think Bi LIs not really sure why though and at least to me they all seem to prefer women.
