My guess for the male romances;

 

Solas - Straight

Dorian - Gay

Iron Bull - Bi

Cullen - Bi

 

OR

 

Solas - Bi

Iron Bull - Bi

Dorian - Gay

Cullen - Straight

 

 

There are obviously other possibilities, but this is what I'm guessing right now. I'm going to guess Varric, Blackwall and Cole wont be in the mix. Varric because of Bianca and some hints she might still be around, Blackwall because he's close to his calling, and Cole because he doesn't understand sexuality enough at this juncture. But I could be wrong!

Not really say Cullen is Straight and Scribbles is Bi and say Cassandra is Straight and Dorian Gay and IB is Bi. Gay men would have more choices in that case over straight women, I may be explaining this poorly if so I apologize I'm not good at explaining with I mean.

Dorrian -   - m/m (wait, it hasn't been 'officially' confirmed he's a LI< but he is m/m....but I'll keep the heart there...it just makes sense)

Blackwall - ? LI Status

Cole - ? LI Status (personally, the thought of him being a LI   )

 

Advisors:

Leliana - Confirmed NOT a LI

Cullen -   - orientation ?

Scribbles - ? LI Status

That depends on the route they're going, if it's a 2/2/2 split or 2/4/2, or maybe 2/3/2

Looks like most everyone's predictions on who the gay companions are turned out to be correct.

 

I still don't think Blackwell will be a romance option, I think that Solas will be the bisexual option, and Cullen the straight option. And if that ends up the case, I think it's safe to say Solas will be my romance in my first playthrough. But we shall see.

 

Female companions, I still have no clue.

While Scribbles could be Very Awesome, and I think Vivienne has potential to be a fascinating character, the idea of playing a f/f Battle Couple with one of the biggest non-PC warrior BAMFs in Thedas is too much for my lady-warrior loving brain to handle.

Both in DA:Origins and 2, I've romanced mainly human characters. This time around I seem to be the most interested by non-human characters, which I'm finding to be a cool new experience. *grabby hands* Gimme all the LI's pls. I am greedy. D8

Ooo I hadn't even really considered Solas not to be a romance option, cos to me, Blackwall seems less likely - it would get in the way of his Grey Warden duty.

 

But yea...so far I don't really want Iron Bull or Blackwall as my cannon romance. I like Cullen, I just want to romance a companion first....

Wasn't that survey just to asking about the looks of each character individually? I don't know where people got the image of all the character side by side from (with male inquisitor on the first row and female below). It seemed like that image was just put together afterwards to show the concepts together (not really sure, I didn't catch the leak until much later)

 

I'm not sure how the images where originally, but it did spark a theory that so far is still holding, so happy coincidences I guess.

I hope Blackwell is an option for females. While I don't personally want to romance him, other women seem to want him and Dorain, but now Dorian is out of the picture.

That's why I say it depends on the route they're chart is, because between the two Scribe Girls seems the most obvious choice

lol I second this. It would be so nice to just know the options now, I don't see how it's a spoiler anyway.Plus I would rather be disappointed now then later in the game if Cass is not available for f!Inquisitor (Cassandra suspense is killing me. ugh!)

*sigh* I really would've liked Dorian as a Love Interest for my possible female Inquisitor, not going to lie. In that case I really hope that at least Varric will be available and not racegated to Dwarves (since Dwarves can't be mages). If that's not the case then she will probably be celibate. I just hope that Vivienne will be romanceable for male (Qunari or Dwarves) at this Point. I can understand People thinking she will not, since Scribbles seems to be likely (as it is reasonable that more than one Advisor is an LI and Leliana is confirmed not to be), but I am not keen on the idea of a love Interest not being a Companion - thus stripping me of the Possibility of extra Dialogue on Mission. I will not take Cassandra with me (since she is for all we know intended for a Tank Role and I'm going to play that myself) and Vivienne looks just that much better.

 

Grmpf. I do not like the Thought of Advisor Romances. At all. I'd rather have two other Companions available, but then again, except for Vivienne and Varric all People I would be interested in have been revealed - not in the Way I like that, but that's... fine, I guess.

 

Right now, I have two Predictions, one optimistic, one pessimistic.

 

Pessimistic:

Gay/Lesbian: Dorian // Sera (My Opinion: *sad sigh* // I couldn't care less. She looks to bratty.)

Bi: Iron Bull // Scribbles (My Opinion: I don't like his Face // Advisor )

Straight: Cullen // Cassandra (My Opinion: Advisor AND strange Redesign // Not my Type of Woman)

 

Optimistic:

Gay/Lesbian: Dorian // Sera

Bi: Scribbles // Iron Bull (racegated) // Cassandra OR Vivienne (the bisexual one racegated) // Cullen

Straight: Varric (racegated) // Cassandra OR Vivienne // Solas (Adding Solas only because he seems a little bit more probable than a childminded Spiritguy and an aging Grey Warden.)
