God no. Not Blackwall as a m/f only romance. I'm tired to death of the "I'm dying." LI. Let the male players have that romance for once.

Where was it said that he was dying? Also aside from ME2 where else has there been that kind of thing in a Bioware game? I'm curious since I've only played the DA and ME games.
He's a Grey Warden, that's pretty much a death wish. Plus he's been one for 10+ years

Improve one, and maintain the quality of the other. Don't gimp one to improve the other.
It has nothing to do with transferring and everything to do with making space. More space for others romance means you might have to make sacrifices of what you want. If you want an all straight adventure, write a fanfic.
If i wanted to transfer I'd say "YOU GET NOTHING!!!! NOW GET ON THE GROUND AND LET THESE 5 GAY MEN BEAT YOU AND THEN TIE YOU UP AND LEAVE YOU TO DIE. AND THEN HAVE PEOPLE TELL YOU FOR HUNDREDS OF YEARS HOW YOU'RE GOING TO HELL BECAUSE YOU LIKE GIRLS YOU SWINE."
And then maybe we might be transferring "misery." I feel absolutely no sympathy that in one game you have to give up resources so others can feel represented.
Romances were boring for decades if you were gay.

Yeah he's an old Warden but if he was to be kicking the bucket very soon then he couldn't be much help to the PC. Did it say in his info that he was close to his calling? If not I just take it as him being older and Wardens get like what was it 30 or 15 years till they go to their calling (I could be way off been a while since I played DAO) so unless he's on his final legs about to enter his calling I wouldn't call that dying.

Every companion is dying. Every second of their lives they are one second closer to death.

(Anders has it but it's overshadowed by the whole Justice thing). So does Alistair really but it's balanced by the warden having it too and him getting it fresh.
Hey, if they want to make Blackwall gay so that there will be 2 openly gay male companions, I certainly wouldn't complain.
I'd hope we got 2 m/f straight Lis in that case Solas and Cullen would suffice

But it's not like someone could head cannon if they and Blackwall were an item, that they would be able to grow old into their senility together.
Unless some cure is found for the taint, he's leaving Thedas sooner than you are (baring any unforseen accident, disease, or getting eaten by a dragon).
