Depending on how you look at it straight femshep got shafted a little bit more in certain areas than in others (not counting the Citadel party here). Straight males, gay guys, and gay women were always guaranteed at least one romance no matter what they did in previous games, this was not the case for a straight femshep, in that regard straight femshep got "shafted" more than any other demographic. In another regard, straight women did have more side romantic content than gay men, and more potential companion romances than gay men or gay women so they weren't given the entire short end of the stick. Straight men inevitably came out on top however. They had more companion romances than any other demographic, and more side content as well, the only thing they didn't get was Traynor.
I did a little counting. I'm not saying the gay community has had it any better (far from it,) but in the course of the ME games LIs for straight women go as follows:
ME1: Kaidan
ME2: Jacob, Thane, Garrus
ME3: Kaidan and Garrus (only if you romanced him in ME2)
Mass Effect spoilers:
Again, I'm not trying to state that the gay community got anything resembling options. Two yeoman for the ladies and one shuttle pilot plus Kaidan in the entire series wasn't right either. How good or bad the romances were seems really subjective after I asked about it a few weeks back. However, straight woman were left largely in the cold.
Wouldn't it be awesome if the DA team did something completely different and gave more LI options to women in Inquisition?
