It feels like not making Iron Bull or Varric a LI would be a missed oppertunity.  As I said, I'm going to find something to like about all the romances I do.  I just feel like if they don't they'll be wasting something.  Especially with Iron Bull's bio saying he'll bed anyone he thinks he won't break.  Anyone BUT the inquisitor seems kind of a cop-out.

 

And I honestly don't think they'd find a better dwarf candidate for a LI than Varric.  The comparison to Garrus is rather apt.  

Still, I'm only betting on Iron Bull at this point since I don't want to get too greedy with the LI speculations.

Romancing Cullen to my saarabas might be fun for the irony.  Scribbles might be more appealing if we knew anything about her.

Or a Dalish Mage. She is an apostate, conflicting with his Templar history, and a Dalish, conflicting with his Andrastian beliefs.

Now that Solas's info is out, he's looking even more interesting to me. If it's 2/4/2, I really hope he'll be the bi male LI. I'm leaning towards actually thinking he's straight, but I selfishly hope he's bi. He would be so perfect for the elf Inquisitor I wanted to make on my second run.

I have a question. I know it was said that advisors will be available for romance (obviously, Cullen is one). But did they say Cullen, Leliana, and Scribbles were the only advisors? Maybe there are more that will be available as smaller romances, kinda like the sort of smaller content you got with Steve and Samantha in Mass Effect , or the previous romance options that weren't companions from ME2.

Those are referred to as Agents I believe. The advisers are just the three since they are the Inquisitions 'pillars'.

I was wondering.  I speculated before Morrigan might be an arcane adviser or some such, although she won't be a LI either (If Leliana isn't, probably so isn't Morrigan, Morrigan also may be in a committed relationship with the warden, and I seem to recall reading somewhere that previous LI, ie, Leliana and other cameos, won't be LI in DAI).  Some are hoping for Dagna, who could possible, from what we know so far, be seen as our Tech Adviser.

I doubt he is straight. Otherwise both elf options are female-only.

The theory goes that since Cullen was a confirmed LI by the time the interview that said "some advisers are romancable" came out, it means more than one since if it was only Cullen why not just say Cullen because it was already revealed. That leaves Leliana and Scribbles, and Leliana is confirmed to not be an LI so that brings it down to just Scribbles. 

Yeah I guess you are right. It's just that by going with the survey it would seem that Viv is not going to be an LI, and I thought she had a good chance. But like you guys said things may have changed and we don't even know if this image is accurate.

I tend to feel wishing for more bi LIs to be less selfish, as it means one is not hoping for a LI for oneself, but for others as well.  But that's just me.  To my knowledge, 2/2/2 and 2/4/2 hasn't been confirmed and is just speculation.  Could be every named character is a LI.  Could be just Cullen, Sera, and Dorian.  Could be just Scribbles, Cullen, Dorian, and Sera.  We don't know yet.

Haven't planned a Dalish mage yet, just a qunari.  I have some idea of wanting to do a world state with a dwarf warden for my dwarf inquisitor playthrough, but that's all.  I tend to like planning my playthroughs to have as much reason to talk about previous games as possible, like if my warden is an Amell then romancing Hawke to Anders.  As much as I want to romance Varric and I keep saying I probably won't pick until my saarabas does, that does make it likely that, if my first world state is a Warden Amell+Morrigan/Mage Hawke+Anders like I'm planning, Cullen is going to find himself taking life by the horns.

So, I'm thinking about Solas being an LI, and I'm thinking (running on the assumption that he is an LI) Solas won't be race-gated. However, that makes me think that he definitely won't be bisexual. Which makes me think he's straight.

Cullen and Dorian seem to be easily the most popular from DA:I, but they're already asserted. If I were going to guess right now, I'd say Solas and IB have pretty equal requests and pretty equal outright dislike for their looks.

I honestly think that's the case.

 

Even if Cullen returned to DA games for a second, now third time, there isn't a lot known about him compared to a full fledged companion like Varric who has also been in books outside of the games.

 

And as you know, I am one of these Varric fans haha

There is something to be said for the very naturalistic, rugged type.  I can't find the right word...less negative or comical connotations than tree-hugging hippie, but in that ballpark...

Are we really sure Dorian is confirmed as a LI? Because all I remember reading was that Gaider said he is gay.
