Turians, Salarians, and Krogans definitely are alien in appearances to me.  But I felt their personalities and cultures pretty much fell flat, and it just felt very human with very human scales, values, and viewpoints, not alien ones.

I'll be honest, Iron Bull doesn't look human to me. Like, he's definitely humanoid, but definitely not human.  

 

The only thing that really separates him to me is the horns(and the skin tone, but that's neither here nor there). I've seen guys with that body type before. I've seen guys with that facial structure before. Only thing that's non-human about him is how his forehead kinda twists into the horn-crest thing.

Considering we don't know any aliens in real life (when I say we I suspect it's most of us aside from the few who claim to have met aliens that is...) to compare them with our ingame aliens. I'm not sure what the values, viewpoints of alien species might be, can you enlighten us on what you mean by that?

Bisexual: Iron Bull, Solas, (Cassandra or Vivienne) and Scribbles

Gay: Dorian and Sera

or

Straight: Blackwall and (Vivienne or Cassandra)

I go back and forth on whose bi and whose straight with Vivienne and Cassandra

See, that's the thing I agree with you, but on the other hand, I don't how to make a culture more alien-like. For something to be alien, really, all it has to be is different that our own. That's like the most basic definition of alien.. kinda.

Here are my new(ish) guesses (again):

 

Straight: Cullen, Cassandra

Bi: Vivienne, Iron Bull, Scribbles

Gay: Sera, Dorian

I'm a huge fan of interspecies myself. ^^ Thinking of romancing Dorian as an elf. 

It's not like I had a choice in DAO...

 

Dwarves are my favourite race to play and there were no dwarven romances. So all I had to choose from were humans and one elf.

I don't care if its a male LI or a female LI I just want one as upbeat and adorkable as Sigrun though if they brought Sigrun back (which I'm sure they won't) it would make me probably the happiest I've ever been.

Definitely had plenty of fun with interspecies relationships.

 

It's just another way for characters to come closer together and adds interesting dynamics due to differences that can't be changed. I'm kind of a "real love has no race or color" type of player, so why not?

Well I probably prefer interspecies relationships. Though the romances that I really liked ended up as elves (Zevran and Fenris).

I'm hoping to run with a male Qunari mage for this game. And if I'm lucky I would be able to romance Solas with my male Qunari.

That would be cool. Ariane was awesome and It would be sweet if she showed up as a LI. True that Danga gives me hope not just for the possibility of female elf LI, but for all the the dwarf players who are just as left out.

Yes, plus race gating.  Only 6 are available without race gating.  So I figure 6 without race gating, 4 with it.    That's my answer.
