Who do you think is the next LI reveal? I'm thinking Solas or Iron Bull at this rate. Well, if they don't confirm Cullen and Cass' sexuality first. I'm beginning to think, judging from the number of threads that keep popping up on the subject, that it might be time to get C&C's sexualities confirmed.
With the advisers coming out this week and next week right, I can see them announcing and confirming Cullen and possibly Scribbles if she is an option.
Then next week is GaymerX, so they may confirm the bisexual options there(and maybe the straight options as well since they might as well if they do the bi options).

I'm thinking they'll do an advisor piece, once we get Scribbles's name. That's a new system, and I think it'll be more interesting for them to talk about that vs. revealing another LI companion.

Meh. I don't think it'll be any (or at least much) worse than what its been. Besides, if that happens, you could pretty much track who has a good idea of being straight since they already said there would be a wide variety of sexualities or something similar to that if I remember right.

I kind of hope they do. GaymerX has a ton of straight allies at it too. It would be kind of cool if they focused on the gay/bi characters, but also gave a nod to the straight audience too.

This whole thing reminds me of something my father asked my grandmother and I before about how gay women are apparently more acceptable than gay men in public. He asked if we had to choose which would we rather come across making out, I said neither because I just don't like the idea of anyone gay or straight sucking face in public, and my father told me that was the wrong answer that the right one was women because it looks more natural my grandmother agreed with him on it. I don't think they were right but it is odd how people see two women to be more acceptable than two men. At least in my experience anyway. Though this was asked of me way before I knew what being gay meant but even if I did I doubt my answer would have changed. (I lived a pretty sheltered life and didn't find out that some people were attracted to their own gender until I was roughly sixteen)
"More natural"? I doubt it. I think it's more like "more socially acceptable."
I think it's more because, men have been conditioned not to show emotion or fondness at all, unless it's to a girl they're romantically interested or involved with. A guy can hug his girlfriend in greeting, but if he tries it on his guy friend people will immediately say "You gay?" (Because, of course, men only show affection to those they want sex from, right?) Showing emotion = feminine and weak, being stoic and detached = manly. Since women are allowed to show more emotions and affection than men, and female friends are allowed to show more affection to each other than men to male friends (platonic female friends can hug, kiss each other on the cheeks, tell how much they missed the other, etc) it seems more palpable to people who've bought into societal gender roles.
A girl who kisses another girl on the lips is not too different from a girl who kisses another girl on the cheek; two girls who hold hands or cuddle on a park bench are not too different from platonic girl friends sitting close, whispering secrets, wrapping their arms around the other, etc. Our society is more used to women showing affection (both to men and other women), so it doesn't seem quite as strange, shocking, alien, or threatening than men showing affection.

The thing is it would mean pushing Viv as the less desirable option to be the straight option. It seems like it happens a lot when it's a character people don't want, they want it to be of the other orientations, so they could get more options they want. It happens a lot with Solas where people hope he's straight/gay depending on who you ask, so they don't have to deal with him. It comes off as a bit selfish in a way. I'm just looking at it in a general sense since it already happens a lot with gay characters in a sense that we're always get the less desirable options. I find Viv to be a very beautiful woman but seeing her being brushed asides sadden me. It seems to happen a lot with minority LI. Jacob, Vivienne, even Isabella were made white to look more beautiful. I'm not talking about you btw, just my overall view as a whole.

Personally, I just want to romance all of them at least once, I don't care what sexuality or race restriction.

I hope that they announce the gay and bisexual LIs specifically and then just tell us which other characters are LIs, but not specifically mention them as straight. To anybody who uses small amounts of logic this will be the same thing as confirming straight LIs, but it'll be fun to watch the people who lack that special skill.
