I loved how Wynne asked about the PC. There is not enough of that.

Same. I loved her showing respect for my Cousland being the last of her line, too. Like we're told the Couslands are this important noble family but most people you meet really don't seem like they care one way or the other that you're actually a Noblewoman. I enjoyed Wynne recognizing that. I also appreciated being able to say "I am a Teryn's daughter, "My Lady" would be proper." When Ser Perth asks if he can call you that.

Hmm I might have missed that I just remember Alistair asking my human noble if they lost someone close to them then asking my dwarf noble how they bury their dead.

Needs to be better balanced especially if they do have something tragic happen to the PC our followers or LIs should really make sure we're okay afterwards.

I never got the combined jealous banter of those three I watched it online but it was the only jealous banter I kind of enjoyed. Never got much jealous banter in DAO though aside from when I got ninjamanced by Alistair but that only was affected during Leliana romances (since I guess Zevran's and Alistair's jelaous banter was bugged). Where Fenris keeps Hawke from going with Zevran? Something like that could work though Fenris was doing it more out of still having a thing for Hawke even though they've been apart for three years (though not as weird as Anders telling Hawke that he's laid awake for years aching for them)

I'm only sure of it for mage and obviously mage wouldn't bury dead differently so there's that XD

Yes so tired of terrible moments happening and Lis having a complete non reaction to it even when they're standing right next to you.

Ugh I thought it was terrible. Yeah Fenris pretty much does his growly thing and Zev backs off. I usually do Fenris' act 3 quests immediately though so I don't have to worry about it. And yeah that way I get the benefit of the growl not being completely random.

I loved how Wynne asked about the PC. There is not enough of that.

Yeah stuff like that is nice. Being able to add to my PCs character with tidbits like that showing regret, stoicism, aggression, so on towards his/her past is great for RP.

I liked how she was disturbed by my CE's bloodlust. Dispelled all her fantasies about Wardens right there.

I only wish I could've ridiculed her on my Dalish. And made her feel worse about Aneirin.

My guess is a Cass romance might only turn out tragic if you're a big softy about some things. It'll be more punitive for those people than anyone who is likeminded with her. Or an even bigger hardass.

I'm the opposite. I believe at the end of the day, she'll like someone who is hardass and gets things done, but will love someone who is an idealist and cares as much about helping people as getting things done.

I think it was a good spanish accent, I mean if it was fake, it could fool me. It has nothing to do though with you not liking it, of course  :P

I don't know. It really felt bizarre. I would have preferred if it was from someone with an actual Spanish accent (I was a Nadal fangirl during my tennis playing teen years), much like how Merrill had a Welsh VO and Leliana with a French VO.

Even with Hawke, not many people acknowledged how they were feeling. It was more you could react and respond but not many NPCs were like, "Hawke! How's it going? Have a drink with me. What did you think of X?" It was always, "Hawke! Come and have a drink with me. I'm having this revelation/problem."

I'd like to see that in the future - giving more choice in inner-thoughts to the PC.

Well, of course personality and characters are important, but I am not gonna lie that looks has nothing to do with me being attracted to an individual too. The same way it works with the real world. And so far, unfortunately none of the characters shown are my type.

I don't think this is a "wrong" thing to have an opinion about.

It would be an interesting experience to play as a friendzoning hero every once in a while! Hahaha.

I didn't mean like that, I just meant, maybe one of them will become more attractive to you if you really like their personalities? You shouldn't close yourself off to that potential just because you're not instantly attracted to anybody at this point, is all I'm saying.

Well, it's not just Cass. I just get the feeling this won't be a friendly story for feelgood solutions in general. Maybe I'm wrong.

I don't expect to save Connor, the Circle, and all of Redcliffe this time though.

In the DA:I demo with Cassandra, Vivienne, and Varric, we get the option to save Crestwood village or the Keep.

Mark, however, said that there is a way to save both.

XD or my mage's "no I don't care about the other mages." behavior.

Eww Dalish. :P

Yeah it's one of the reasons I love the all that remains scene and Aveline's scene after that.

Companions trying to comfort you after something traumatic happened? :o

That will be infinitely more difficult.

And your LI coming to comfort you. I wanted a few more scenes with that. Can't have it all, I know. :)

Don't worry, the Inquisitor will have amnesia. Whenever people ask you about your background, the PC will just say, "I have no clue!"

Problem solved. :P

Probably not *infinitely,* but somewhat harder. That's fine. Having to work to be the Big Damn Hero makes being it more meaningful.

I suspect it's like this -
Let the Keep fall: Cassandra disapproves.
Let Crestwood fall: Cassandra approves.
Save them both: Cassandra starts falling for you.

Eww Dalish. :P

I wish I could explain the appeal over CE. They're both cool.. and they both have reasons for anger. I just see the Dalish the same way as Shale or Sten. Outsiders and misfits of the surrounding culture in general. There's fun in that. Hope you give it a shot in DAI (I'll be starting as human this time myself).

I don't even think I talked to him during my mage run wanted to avoid being ninjamanced again so we rarely spoke xD

Exactly so I was really REALLY expecting my companions in DAO to have some kind of reaction when my Brosca had to kill Leski especially since they were chatting all friendly with eachohter when she came back but nope no one cares if it might have been hard to do that but oh look Alistairs sad about Duncan again better comfort him not like I just murdered one of my close friends or anything like that.

Never thought of doing it in that order before mostly cause I'm not patient and still haven't completed a Fenris romance yet no matter how many times I try to^^;

When I say  I want jealous banter I usually mean something more along the lines of Alistair and Morrigan or maybe something of if your PC breaks up with one LI and gets with another but I'm iffy on that one.

Nadal has a little uncommon spanish accent (Ok, I like him too, and don't want to sound mean, but the truth it's he speaks like...apparently there's not a word in english to translate "pijo"  :D, so I'll say like "a rich guy" which is, as I said, a little uncommon). He also is from Baleares, while Zevran (and most antivans) sounds like Castilians I think... And I stop now, way too OT, sorry  :P

I think some NPCs sound very Castillan (like the Crows in DA2 or Feynriel's dad). Zevran kind of sounds like an attempt at it.

Yeah those small touches make a world of difference tho :)

Only if the PC ends up being the big bad at the end :3

Ah yeah it's just not for me. I'm sticking to humans and female Qunari. I really don't like the dalish.

XD yeah Alistair has some weird romance triggers.

Yeah and the whole Tamlen scene in the camp. Or Howe. So many missed opportunities :(

I love Fenris mance so yeah that's pretty much what I do all the time XD

Ah Fenris has a banter like that if you get with Anders after he leaves. Yeah I wouldn't mind that so much. I really want to avoid the "I'm better for her" bits though.

Fair enough. Ignorant misfits are fun though. Kind of like Borat. But jerks.

AH, okay. I didn't know there were different ones!

I suppose (since I am Chinese) it's kind of like... the difference between Cantonese and Mandarin accents? Gosh.

Don't feel bad. I only know because I was a theater nerd once. And own a book on different dialects/accents.

I don't know about China, but yeah, it's probably the same. My mom is Thai, and even that small country has regional accents (Lao, Siamese, Malay all speak a bit differently).

Hawke got friendzoned by Varric.  :crying:

Come on, how come anyone can compete against Bianca. It's not even fair. No one can be as sexy as Bianca. That curved edge... hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Maybe, maybe :) Well, until I get to play the game in my hands looks are all I got to "judge" them so yeah, hahaha. Hopefully they turn out to be an interesting bunch.

Well, technically, I am Malaysian (by nationality), Chinese by race. Malaysia is full of various races, including but not limited to Malays, Chinese, Indians, Eurasians (either Malay-Portuguese mix or Malay-Dutch mix) and various aboriginal ethnic groups.

Fair enough. To be more specific, I meant the southern Thais sound different (close to Malaysia, but not Malays per se). While my mom can barely understand Northerners or Laotians either (even though they speak Thai as well).

Interesting enough, it is possible that the PAX video had Jennifer's Cassandra in it. David re-wrote Cassandra in August and PAX prime is at the end of that month.

David's Cassandra could have a different take on the Crestwood situation. Although I totally expect "save both = Cassandra starts to fall for you".
