This is why Dorian does the shackling and chaining.  In bed.

(I'm ashamed.  Maybe.)

Don't be ashamed! I like where this is going!

QunariPC isn't of the Qun, they are Vashoth, and it is what can make a big difference, though.   :)

Haha! And yep, nobody is shackling my Qunari Mage. Unless it's in the way you mentioned I suppose. xD

Pretty much, yeah.

Ah alright then :) While I wouldn't mind possible LIs getting together if you don't get with them I can see why some people would like it. Guess I never felt guilty about the Fenris/Isabela thing since it was less of a relationship and more of a fling.

Garrus/Tali was fine with me, but I was only ever going to romance Kaidan, anyway. lol

Honestly, though, it doesn't matter to me if two LI characters I like romance each other. It would be cute to see in a play where I didn't romance them, but I'm not going to dwell on the alternate reality.

So far I've never romanced more than one option, though, so if it was them, chances are looking good that I'd never see the lines except on YouTube.

I've never had a problem with it, but I don't want Iron Bull and Dorian to have a thing, like some people have guessed. It really bothers me. Like, Dorian and literally any other guy is fine, or Iron Bull and a non-mage. Just not the guy that's an operative for a group that mutilates and shackles mages with a mage. It's gross to me. DX

I could be alright with it if Iron Bull leaves the Qun, though, I guess.

But they have so much in common.

Dorian already chose to be an exile from Tevinter, but I guess if he turns out to be for slavery after all, then they're just a pair of terrible people together.  :(

lol to be fair, I don't think the Qunari would ever try to shackle Tevinter Magisters. They're more likely to just try to kill them.

I think it's primarily just mages born into the Qun that are treated like that.

Solas is my favorite of the unannounced options, too.  :P

Too bad I'm totally convinced he'll be straight if he's an LI. Oh well. lol

'Tis my figure as well. Poor male elves, they're gonna have to do stuff with shemlen.

That's why I don't even want to make one. I'll just go warrior human and play the default character they seem to want me to play. I'll let my "Dalish" experience stay with the Warden. I've been dying to be a Dalish mage since DAO though.

It seems strange to me that so many people are so convinced that Solas is the heterosexual male, when they've given no real indication to what his sexuality might be yet. Honestly with his personality I'd suspect bisexual before straight...

I feel like Cullen is more likely to be the straight male, personally, since he's never been shown as anything else in the previous games.

If I had to give a personal guess on the straight male, I'd guess Cullen too, although just because he's never shown interest in men doesn't rule him out, like with Anders and Kaidan. I know many people are wanting the advisors to be bisexual LI's, though.

I thought due to being an NPC Cullen would be a bisexual option, but with the advisers being confirmed to have had the same writing budget he could very well be the straight option.

Unless you have self-control and stay single, or (Creators willing) someone like Ariane is available for an elven Inquisitor.

I'd trade any character for Cullen to be the bisexual. C'mon, I have been waiting for a long time, it would suck if I can't romance him.

I'm just awaiting for his orientation to be revealed soon.

I don't guess what sexuality the characters will be by their in character personality. I mean, I think that's really misleading with actual people, but since this is a video game I'm going to look at what I think the developers were most likely to assign them. I guessed Dorian/Sera would be the homosexual options and it had nothing to do with their personalities. They just seemed the most likely to fill the role, to me, from a design perspective. Obviously I could be wrong in the future, though.

Too many damn humans.

One of these days they need to include more dwarves. And a possible female/male elf pairing. I think the Merrill/Hawke romance is kind of depressing actually. At least on friendly. Then she views Hawke as someone who could be the hope for her people, if only he were an elf. Why can't an elf ever hear a line like this? You're always paired with people who don't even care about elves.

<3 I hope you get that! It was just a guess, it doesn't mean I want that to happen.  ^_^

I also have a pretty solid feeling Varric won't be an LI, even though it pains me, so yeah. xP I guess I'm pessimistic.

I would be really happy with either Cullen or Solas as a bi LI, so if either one is in, I'll be thrilled. I really like Solas's personality based on the interview, so I guess I'm maybe leaning a little towards him for now. The main thing I liked about Cullen was that his war table shot looked great, but his more recent ones are not so much, so his stock dropped slightly with me. lol

I agree, there's a plethora of Andrastian humans.

Honestly, it would've been nice to see a male dwarven protagonist have the opportunity to romance a female dwarf (and there's still the question of whether or not Varric will even be a romance option this time), and it would've been interesting to romance another elf as a male Inquisitor interested in women. I'm happy for fans who can romance Sera, and I hope players who are interested in Solas are able to pursue it, but I would have preferred if the developers didn't limit players who are interested in playing as a straight male elven Inquisitor to Andrastian humans.

Well, Sera is an option. They're not forcing any options on anybody, if you play a straight male elf you just can't romance another elf. That's not terrible. I would guess that it'll happen to gay male elves too, but I wouldn't put any money on it.

I have no idea: I kinda expect Cullen to be bisexual if there are 8 LIs. I just do. I won't be shocked if Solas is bisexual, but he's the character I'm most interested and I'm bracing myself for disappointment. Heck, I'm not even positive IB is an LI.

Unless you have self-control and stay single, or (Creators willing) someone like Ariane is available for an elven Inquisitor.

Why self-control? I don't think there's anything inherently wrong about elf-human romance. And though my Dalish characters tend to start the game from relatively xenophobic standpoints I generally play them as becoming more open by the end of the game. I can't imagine my Dalish character would be interested in Cullen or Bull (the only force that is worse than the chantry is the Qun...) but I haven't actually met them yet. And maybe Dorian will charm my socks off.

And I guess Ariane is a possibility: While we're at it lets speculate that they'll bring back Sketch too. He was associated with Leliana, therefore he must be a romance.

It is an option. Like I said elsewhere though, I won't make a female unless I have a better concept in general (not just because of romance options). Plus, my Warden elf is already female. I didn't want to repeat that. Nor do I know how to roleplay a lesbian. I could learn, but I don't feel very sincere about it myself (just to be honest).

I'll just enjoy the game another way.
