Yup, it is only really about the height,  I think on the sturdiness scale the dwarves would win.  Its the practicalities of creating the animations.

That male qunariXDorian art is very, very close to what I'm hoping my first playthrough looks like.  I actually kind of want a qunari who looks like that.  Since he's Vashoth, I want to be able to make him more "Thedosian" (versus Qunari) in appearance.  Thanks for posting it!

Try to remember with IB though, he'll sleep with people he thinks he won't break. There's a big difference between that and who he'd actually break.

 

Also we need more context as to what is actually meant by "break," people can break mentally, as well as physically.

With how thin are elves unless he's drunk I don't think how Iron Bull would think he wouldn't break an elf

 

and given what we've heard about him I'm assuming they mean break as in physically or do people usually wager on the mental stability of someone they meet for a drunken one night stand? They might for all I know I don't get out enough to know how these things call humans work.

There's an...interesting, interesting is a good word, piece of fan art a few pages back(I believe it's covered by a spoiler tag) in the Iron Bull thread that demonstrates that while elves may be lithe, they're also, *ahem*, flexible enough to accommodate the Iron Bull.

This is kind of a crappy way to go about doing it though.  I thought that they were making story-driven decisions based on the story and not to appease groups of players?  I understand that they want to get bang for their buck, but then don't include options if you aren't going to provide all of those options with a somewhat comparable experience.  And I'm firmly a dwarf player (I think the last human I finished DA: O with was about 4 years ago and I've never even played an elf past Ostagar).

 

It's not a good thing by any means, but since they're ultimately working on a budget and with a deadline it'd make sense that they would extend the most effort on the options most people use, ideal concepts aside.

Im pretty sure you can find, like, real world human beings that are build similarly to an elf and a qunari.

 

I mean, hell, im 5'4'' and have met people that were over 7 feet tall.

Considering animation troubles and resources as issues, I'd be happy to see asexual relationships and romantic relationships that *don't* require sex or sex as some ultimate goal.  IB sitting next to dude or lady Dwarf Inquisitor after an Act III dramatic battle, haggard and worn, and IB just gently placing his hand on the Inquisitor's back as they both look off into the distance together, sharing their soft murmurs of supportive bonds and love and maybe even a cheeky tease (FemShep/Garrus had many great moments similar) before falling into a comfortable silence, is a lovely enough romantic concept to me.

Yeah.  I saw that.     

 

Anyway, I think the armor suits her better, but she was always pretty to me.  However, that dress looks stunning on her.  I'm not saying that she looks prettier in a dress so much as that it really softens her face and her form.  If we ever have a chance in this game or the next to go to a masquerade ball, that's my vote for Cassandra's look.  

 

Plus, it looked like it wouldn't be too hard to smuggle a dagger under the dress via a leg stealth.  I could picture Cass in that dress, but I couldn't picture her unarmed.  That would be weird.

I am envious of Vivi's cheekbones (very cat like imho) and of Cassandra's hair color.  I would have loved black hair as a little girl.
