Perfect, thank you. I loved that scene. ![]()
Yeah, DG just confirmed what that wonderful look told me when I played DA2.

UserWhy are not all DA characters bisexual so everyone can try all the romances without feeling estranged from their character?Because characters are not there solely to be romanced.
Gaider already said Cassandra is romantic inside.
Technically, being liking heroics, chivalry and other stuff laughed at by a large portion of the world doesn't necessarily mean you are a softee.
It could also be possible that IB is not actual romance. Maybe he doesn't want a serious relationship at all. So he could be like an extra option for everyone.

Ha!

You can be a softy, but still have all the strengths of character that she has. I think there is just a romantic and sweet side underneath that armor. ![]()

Just confirmed? Her interview was released some time ago. Or are you talking about something else?

Now that's what I call an smackdown.

Ooooooooh.

Iron Bull can be your side piece. You can romance him like Kelly Chambers so that he will do some chores for you, and if you choose not to, he will seemingly meet a grim off-screen end in Dragon Age 4: the Fourth Dragon Age Game.
All of this is now confirmed, too.
If IB is just a fling and wont commit, I hope they say that before release, or I can see people expecting a full romance and being pissed they wasted a playthrough waiting around on him.

I would really like to try a romance with him, not just a fling.
As long as he's not another "This level of flirting is getting uncomfortable" creepy one night stand like Vega, I'll be okay. I'd prefer him as either a romance, or not. >.>

Poor IB.

That's not really an answer.
And kind of dismissive, considering all his huffing and puffing at people who dared question DA2.

I'd rather not do either. >__>
I think it depends on how many romances there are. If there are 8 romances or more, I think he's probably in. If there's 6, I'm more skeptical if he's a full one, but that could also be that I really, really don't want him to be the only bi option. lol
Always shooting down my hopes and dreams, Nocte. XD
While the race you play might not have as many options, you the player will
I've joked before that the race gating is a ploy by Bioware to get the fandom to stop asking for multiple races and let them go back to a human-only PC.
Congratulations; you finally get to play a qunari like you've been asking for for five years! Enjoy, and remember that everyone in Thedas hates you because of your race, and the whole game will be that much more difficult for it! But wait, there's more! On top of that, out of your trusted companions, only one of them will be able to see passed your horns and allow you to find love! But that's not even the best part; we've made sure that one companion is the least interesting, least attractive one to you, personally!
Have fun, and see you next time for Dragon Age IV: Hawke Returns!
All in jest, of course.
Edited to account for the effect this headcold is having on my typing.

That actually sounds great. Race actually mattering within the world. Actually being acknowledged for what you are, some actual chance to roleplay!
I'd take that over getting to choose which bunch of pixels I want to bang any day.

Not going to lie that made me giggle quite a bit enough to disturb the cats and I'm not really sure why.
Though if I may add a little seriousness to that, for story reasons I don't mind people in general being less trustful of a qunari in some situations but race gates still bug me only because I have no idea how it's going to be handled so I'm worrying about the worst possible scenario. I"m also worried that'll add some very unattractive qualities to the companions and advisers. While I am aware that racism is a thing in Thedas (note I'm talking about racism against the races in game not comparing it to real world at all) just seems like it may be hard to pull off that our followers would follow you to death despite you being a qunari but wouldn't get in a relationship with you because you are qunari. I suppose they could do it like DAO where the option just isn't available but that just calls for even more need of this mythical chart I keep hearing about.

Qunari are going to be more popular than elves and dwarves. I doubt they'll experience the bulk of the race-gating.
That said, I don't find any of the companions uninteresting at this point.
I think Qunari will be more popular than dwarves, but I think it's questionable that they'll be more popular than elves. I think a lot of the more casual players would pick the prettier, more recognizable elves over Qunari.
