Hey, doesn't Cullen being straight and Scribbles bisexual officially debunk the Survy LI Theory?

 

Maybe? But I thought the fact that the pictures didn't actually line up how that theory said already had debunked it.

I'm not saying that Bioware is creating a character that is a flat stereotype, but that she's being perceived that way...see things like the thread where she was called "uppity" or the negative reactions to the letter that was a part of her introduction.  And just because you haven't seen it much doesn't mean it's not extremely prevalent, even in black-oriented movies.  

 

Again, I have a feeling that everyone saying that she'll probably be off-limits is right, but giving the reason for that as "we don't want ALL the women to be available as LIs" is suspect when the only one who may not be in any kind of romance is seen as a Sapphire.  If she's in a NPC romance, or has other things going on, awesome.  I'll still carry a faint hope that she's an LI until they confirm either way.

 

Who said I haven't seen it much? I simply said I didn't feel BW was doing that thus it wasn't much of an issue to me. That's all. As for how people are perceiving her I'm not liable to take that seriously considering they haven't even played the game. (I love when my words disappear in posts yay).

 

Considering the people saying she seems uppity or uptight have only seen small snippets of her personality...I highly doubt any BW characters is going to be that shallow. Hell even the ones I don't like aren't shallow. Though yes i do agree it'd be nice if she has a love life outside of the PC. (honestly I'm kind of hoping for a sort of rivalrymance with Solas if he's not an LI). And yeah I'm hoping she's not an LI because like I said all females being love interest squicks me the hell out.

I know it's OT, but didn't this come up in this thread a few days ago? So apparently, Alistair it's half elf? Or am I missing anything? His mother is Fiona confirmed?

 

Q: Ok so dragon age 1 was my favorite out of the 2 games. I liked the fighting stile better on da2. Ive beaten the first game with every charicter type. My fav was my dalish elf named turrin. In one of the endings i chose to breed my elf with morgan. Will their sons look half elf? And are you planning on bringing back race for charicter selection in the future games? Because honestley that was my favorite thing about dao
A: There are no half elves in DA. The Human side always dominates the appearance. Hence Alistair (MD)

Well, maybe around sexuality, but the fact that all five of the confirmed LIs are on that survey could still be something. I mean, we ARE 5 for 5 on reveals from that survey, it's not a stretch to think that the other guy on the survey could be the bisexual male option who hasn't been revealed. Of course, purely speculative......

It's an interesting way to phrase it. "A few" isn't a majority? "A few" of 6 is half, so I wonder if that could imply that there are more than 6.

Also, for NPC LIs, they have not only the same amount of dialogue, but banter too... It seems though they have a different approval system?

I think IB will likely be available to qunari/human. I still think it could go either way on him being a romance or just a fling. I think it depends on if he's written to leave the Qun or not.
