That's not love, that's being a stalker. It extraordinarily creepy. I hate that series, mainly because it has the worst ideas about "romances" and for awhile there, teen girls (and lonely housewives) were gobbling that up. I think of a 14 year old girl thinking that this is romantic and I shudder.
..and 14 year old boys.

Comments Gaider has made before about dwarven romances, Celene is more likely to be a significant player in the game than Dagna about whom we have really heard nothing about other than that she will appear in some form.
I feel very bad for the Cassandra fans, fans of her since DAII. I'm not really shocked for Cullen being straight, but for Cassandra, I am. Now, you are totally right, let it go, driink, ! Probably for the best !

Who cares? He doesn't even really pick the romances himself. And I have seen those so called "comments", and he hardly demonized dwarf lovers at all. It's certainly not usable evidence.

All I said was that it is more likely, obviously this is IMHO and I could be wrong.
So Varric seems like more of a possibility the more I think about it. He's obviously well-liked and people have wanted him as an LI for a while. If he's an LI, does anyone think he could be bi and available to any race other than dwarves?

I believe he'd be race gated, but probably (hopefully) bi.

Well, I don't actually hate dwarves. People say I do, however, so it must be true.
Still not interested in making a romance for them, however, though Varric was tempting.
I really have enough to contend with regarding giving real-world genders and sexualities equal opportunity in romances without having people imply they've some right to romance all in-game races as well. I mean, come on. If you're keen to romance a dwarf, just say so. It's hardly an issue of fairness.
As for difficulty, it's not much of an issue if we know the relative heights of the models involved. A DA2 romance with Varric would have been simple enough because we know that we have one human and one dwarf involved. We didn't do it because we didn't want to-- or, rather, because we wanted to do the other romances more. End of story.
I'm just not yet at the point where I feel the need to appeal to niche interests, or write romances geared specifically for those who have played so many romances that they need something different just to shake things up. I'm not specifically against it, to be honest, and had I known Varric would end up like he did I might even have planned it differently (hindsight is great that way). Regardless, I'm not seeking out dwarves to make into love interests and have no interest in starting.
It's not that complicated, is it? The question isn't "why not do it?" ...it's not as if game romances automatically manifest if there aren't enough reasons not to write them. Or maybe some people think that's how it should work. I can't really tell any more.

I think the characters as characters are great, potentially the best cast of all 3 games. I have some quibbles over the love interest side of things but I can work through that.
Dagna and Celene are basically the only women that even might be in the game right now that people could ever imagine as LIs, but I don't think that means either of them are a likely romance. I will be surprised if either of them are part of the 8 count, right now.
Yeah, I personally think the characters in this game are the best roundup we have so far for the Dragon Age series. Romance aside, I'm pretty excited about getting to know them.

Omg, exactly the same. That's why I'm am here, in this topic. I try to forget Vivienne; That said I can't definitely participate in the Josephine Thread while over there, I'm sure there are happy people. The fact that she lost her dark skin makes me even more depressive even if she's cute, and her personality compared to Vivienne... Geez. I just feel like I've lost everything tonight. XD

Definitely. I'm really interested in all the characters, in both romance and friendship. It's such a diverse and cool cast of characters.
