While everyone was responding to the C-named characters straightness they missed a few things in the Raptr chat.
----
Q: So will Varric be a love interest? I need to get some of that godly chest hair dwarven action.
A: We get asked about Varric a lot (even here), but we have not discussed any element of his character arc for DAI at this point. (ML)
----
Q: Is Blackwall going to be romanceable?
A: Soon... (MD)
-----
Q: Solas romance, yes?
A: Not answering (MD)

First is subjective, second is... are you from the future?
I said "I wouldn't" because I was giving my opinion. He's not bad looking IMO, I wouldn't call him handsome. I miss the grey in his beard.

Because it isn't in his personality. Iron Bull can lay with anyone whom he doesn't break but not Blackwall - our Grey Warden is just another man. Man of principle and duty. He just can't be Zevran who sleep with men and women.
Bisexuals aren't necessarily promiscuous or overly sexually driven. With that in mind, why would an attraction to men and women make him less of a man of principle and duty?

Given that they have 8 romances in total, and two are confirmed gay, I expect that straight women will have three men available to them, one of whom will be race-gated.
Cullen is BioWare showing love to straight women; you may find him unattractive because of his appearance, personality, or politics, but he is massively popular.
That's how i see it too. Like you say assume there will be 2 others accessible for those who really don't like him/don't want agent LI etc even if one's race gated.

Ok. Please imagine that Lancelot-type character is fell in love to King Arthur instead of Guenevere. It looks Ok or it looks strange?

He has charm, no doubt. But we need male LI that looks attractive is human. While men have: Josepthine, Dorian and Cassandra.
Listen darling, you are offending many people by making claims that a sexuality is a personality trait. Whether or not Blackwall is Bi (And he very well could be, as personality and sexuality are two completely different parts of someone's identity) is becoming irrelevant because of your offensive remarks. Please apologize and continue on more conscious of the things you are saying, or stop so that others can keep talking in peace.

Also Josephine, a.k.a. the reason I have finally stopped catastrophising over none of the men I want for my dwarf being confirmed romances.
Are you me? xD Josephine's reveal also calmed me down a lot.

Then I would predict Iron Bull as a race gated bisexual option and an unidentified female non-advisor, non-companion as our last race gated bisexual option. Just my thoughts though.

It looks fine to me. It's only strange if you find two men falling in love to be strange. A good man with a strong sense of loyalty falls in love with his king and leader, the man who commands that loyalty. Together they save the kingdom. Really, it writes itself ![]()

I have a feeling the language/culture barrier here may be doing more harm than good.
Unfortunately, I do not understand the reference...so there's that.

Eh, there are some Arthurian interpretations that depict Lancelot as bisexual, you know. And they look 100% okay to me.

It looks honorable and romantic.
One is the King struggling to hold his new kingdom together and the other is his faithful knight and champion.

Looks like a severe case of biphobia.
Sometimes you are happy with your choices sometimes you are not. From all Bioware male LI I only liked Garrus. And he is a freaking dinosaur. (Doesn't mean I didn't other romances for science). Blackwall is very interesting to me, but his chances are small. Should I cry from frustration or make a petition about Bioware not catering to my tastes? It's just a game.

I don't think that's any sort of confirmation or hint towards Blackwall. They're just saying they will tell us his status "soon".
