To keep Iron Bull from having sex with others besides you have to sing this:

We're no strangers to love

You know the rules and so do I

A full commitment's what I'm thinking of

You wouldn't get this from any other guy

I like how everyone hopes the whole group is enlightened and wants to hold hands.

Of course that's what we all want. Everyone bantering, protecting, loving each other - like one big happy dysfunctional family. No regrets just nugs hugs.

And in the end, all that it took the seal the Beach was the power of friendship.

By that token, wouldn't a romance based on emotion be a novel concept to him as well?  Hmmmm.....

And before anyone yells at me, I'm not saying this doesn't make him an LI!

I'm just really curious now how his story will get told, especially if he's a romance...

Actually, yeah. Qunari consider love and sex as totally unrelated. They have loved ones among their peers, but don't relate these relationships sexually. In the Qun, if you establish a relationship as we know it, you're sent to a re-education camp. They're actually a big no-no in the faith. So, it'll be very interesting how they approach the whole thing, if he's a full LI.

Better than having the whole group constantly at one another's throats. I don't expect them to understand one another but I expect them to tolerate eachother no room for petty squabbles during this time of crisis.

Well... the whole world is falling apart all around us. I don't expect this group to be the worst of the world or anything, but I expect it to reflect some of the strife or differences that got us in the mess we're in. And then some.

edit: In other words, it's not the time to be optimistic exactly :)

Please Bioware. Hidden friendship ending. Everyone holds hands while Inquisitor makes a friendship speech, and their combined friendship seals the breach, obliterates the demon and darkspawn, and finds the Warden and Hawke. Make it happen.

It is true that it's been about ten years and people can change their views, so who knows.

It is however also worth noting that there are far less female companions than male ones, so race gating the female LI's doesn't seem especially pratcial. If anyone is race gated it will probably be one of the straight or bi male LI's. Just my guess.

I don't need them all holding hands and hugging it out but I expect them to realize that if they've got problems with eachother to keep it out of the job or get out. In other words don't drag the PC into it and be grown up about it or leave I've got no room to be dealing with their personal drama when the world is tearing itself apart. I'll work with someone I hate if I have to, to stop the fade tears and I expect them to do the same  ^_^

I normally don't sound that cold >> it's either the BSN or my grandmother rubbing off on me

They use the squabbles in party banter to expand on different viewpoints, so I expect some of the disagreements to get heated. I mean, we're dealing with very important issues here, really. Iron Bull is supporting a culture that cuts out mages' tongues, sews their lips shut and keeps them shackled, for example. I doubt the mages are going to be thrilled about that and I certainly can't blame them. Expressing your disagreement is a pretty reserved reaction. I doubt the companions will try to kill each other, or anything.

I can think of a few ways depending on what kind of tears you want.

I figured the ritual to close the Breach would involve a group cry by the entire party.

True but honestly the f/m LI being the gated one would welp. I really should be used to that kind of thing by now though shouldn't I? #ridingthebull it is.

On practicality's sake I'd think it'd make more sense to save yourself double the set of animations with a bi romance than half that on one that's already restricted.

They're free to disagree all they want to just don't let it get in the way of the bigger issue at hand at least that's how I see it  ^_^

Tears of happiness cleanse the Dev's souls, David and Sassmancher don't make it through the cleanse as they're both too far dark side.

Yep, this is my canon ending from here on forth.  :P

Exactly. I don't mind arguing (though Miranda and Jack's got to the point where my Shep felt like the teacher telling the kids to go to their own corners and that was...awkward). I just don't want to feel like I'm not dealing with people who don't know when to shove their differences aside and get to work.

I always side with Jack there.

Because she's right. Too bad for Miranda though.

What if everyone just sat under the Breach pealing onions, would that make enough tears?

If I do side with one of them it's Miranda. I usually pick the renedouche option though because really they can do that crap on their own time. Jack does have a legitimate grievance yes, marching up to Miranda's room however (cause I highly doubt Miranda invited her there) and being threatening and aggressive was not acceptable. I'd kick Jack off the ship at that point if I could.
