Lol, I'd trade Cass for Sera in a heartbeat!Don't cry about Sera or Leliana, you have Cassandra. Lucky duck.

True but that person may want a biological child then spend money on a medical route or adopt
It does if one wants a family or sexually only interested in cis/biological by birth people
I'm betting Thedas has some sort of adoption agency through the Chantry. Dalish clans tend to have everyone raise the kid together and it seems to much the case for City Elves. There is a lot of ways to have a family; just ask any of the gay and lesbian posters out there.

I doubt there is as much cost or red tape in Thedas to adopt a kid like there is in our world. The only "medical route" that Thedas would take is having a guy actually knock the non-trans* female up, unless masturbation and a baster is involved. Even still, it's not like this huge invasive procedure. Or they could have a surrogate mother, which happens in our world all the time.
Besides, they've already stated that there will be no little Inquisitor's running around, so kids by the PC are a moot point anyways.

Don't remind me.
That's a lost cause. My Inquisitor and she are going to hate each other, I just know it. It would be different if he were the type for hate sex, but he ain't. I guess he will have to start the Single Inquisitors Support Club after all ![]()

I was referring to real life, but in game the possibilities are endless. Still gays and lesbians are capable of haveing children biologically. Lesbians can give birth, gays can have a serget from thier spem etc
*snip*
"Cassandra. She's a fox. In French, she would be called "la renarde" and she would be hunted with only her cunning to protect her."

There are people born female that still can't have children... as others have said, there are lots of ways to have a family
True but that person may want a biological child then spend money on a medical route or adopt
The person could have a biological child if their partner is agreeable to using a surrogate/third party, too.

That being said, she probably prefers having her sword and armor to back up her wits.

Yes but not together, its kinda diff for a trans am guessing since a transwomen cannot give birth, and if her partner is male then if a serget was involved the child would only geneticly be related to the male partner and serget

Not speaking for them here buuuuut Cassandra is pretty scary so I can see why some wouldn't be thrilled with her. I find her a bit scary myself though that is a good thing I think ![]()
"Cassandra. She's a fox.
I guess I have to admire her as bf then gf haha
They have a right to, yes... but the transperson in question also has a right to not divulge information that's not legally required for them to divulge. It may be a bad idea, but so then is much of what you mentioned (even if I don't think that incest is necessarily a problem if there aren't age or power issues).
In real life, a trans isn't forced to reveal what he / she is. Of course But that's a ridiculous argument. It's not about them only in a romance and relationships, we are also concerned. Devs are designing a video game which is about entertaining and certainly not about trying to mess with people with real life implications. That's certainly not their role to do such thing. It's about real life people with their own sexuality, playing the game. You just can't mess with that.
People have the right to know and to choose if they want a romance with a trans.
People shouldn't be tricked, people shouldn't be forced to be with a transgender character, which is the case if the character tells you after the romance that he is a transgender character. the choice isn't there, as It would be our choice to be straight or gay in one playthrough. There's absolutely nothing good with that, you are just messing with people's sexuality, ( a man can believe he has turned into a woman because he altered his body, but people aren't forced to think the same, they are free to think the opposite and to choose to avoid any love relationship with him. ) and there's no way it can help improving the situation of trans in real life.
Lying and make people feeling betrayed is certainly not a good advertising. Actually, this is the dumbest idea I've read nowadays. The only thing that I will think, " is wtf Bioware, are you kidding me ? Not only as a gamer but as a customer. There are just too many rl implications to be easily forgotten.

I'm ready to bet that once you play the game and get to know her your are just going to fall in love with her and totally forget about roleplaying your character the way you wanted so she actually notice you...
The things we do for love

Well to have Cass I would gladly trade S- errrr... I'd trade Jos-...no wait you already have her....I'd trade...mmmmh....Cullen ?

Why do you think that? Not everything thinks the same things are attractive in a person. What I've seen on Cassandra is not appealing, personally. Why are people so convinced those of us who are underwhelmed are so wrong?
Note: as she's one of the three options I have as a straight guy, I am planning on giving her a chance. But that's in the hope that's there's something more to her than stern and authoritarian.
