"Cassandra. She's a fox. In French, she would be called "la renarde" and she would be hunted with only her cunning to protect her."
"If she were a constellation, she'd be Babea Majora. If she were a president, she'd be Baberaham Lincoln."

I'm ready to bet that once you play the game and get to know her your are just going to fall in love with her and totally forget about roleplaying your character the way you wanted so she actually notice you...
The things we do for love
But a father loves his children. Even if I could also learn to love a stranger, I couldn't abandon my characters — that would be bad parenting ![]()
Well to have Cass I would gladly trade S- errrr... I'd trade Jos-...no wait you already have her....I'd trade...mmmmh....Cullen ?

Greedy.
Upside she still loves your Warden and thier is Cassandra or Viv if a romance options
Cassandra is not my type and viv's mage hat creeps me the hell out ![]()

What about Scribbles(Josephine)?
What about Scribbles(Josephine)?
She's too... too...
Mundane? Maybe?
What about Scribbles(Josephine)?
hmm maybe but i was hoping my LI would be a companion so we can go on adventures together with the whole party.
Nomancing can be fun too!
I hope...
As someone that "nomanced" her way through both NWN games and through BG2, it honestly can be fun. I'm not mocking you, just offering my PoV on that one. ![]()

I did that in DA 2. I just cant bring myself to romance an dalish who is literally like a child/puppy or an std ridden pirate
. I liked Tallis though but she wasnt an LI option.
Sometimes I wonder if I'm odd for being able to switch out from my own orientation so easily. The two I'm really interested in are Cullen and Josephine. Good chance of Dorian too, but genderbending is harder.

I have to say I am glad I am not a straight male for this one. The choices are rather dreary so far. (Granted all straight female have confirmed so far is Cullen - but given who the remaining male companions are - Iron Bull, Varric, Solas, Blackwall I think 3 of those have the potential to be really good and none of them is outright offputting. I have reason to be hopeful here). If my choices were Scribbles, Cassandra, or Vivienne, I wouldn't be happy.
@jtav
That's not weird. I play different characters all the time.

Yeah, I know, just kidding
I actually did it with my dwarf commoner in DAO. That was a fun run.

Nope, it's not weird. I'm gender-bending my second Quizzy to check out the Dorian romance. ![]()

Actually, magic cures STDs.
It's a matter of opinion. In the case I'd roleplay only straight males characters (which I don't, even if it's the type I play more), I'd be happy with those choices.I have to say I am glad I am not a straight male for this one. I actually did the Fenris romance with a male Hawke, so I don't really have a problem with that per se. I just have a fixed notion of what my characters' sexuality is supposed to be, and changing it just feels wrong.

I'm not willing to take that risk ![]()

Nothing is stopping a straight male from playing as something other than a straight male character.
I always find it curious that others find it so difficult to do so.
And then everyones making out b4 the final battle and you're just like "I aint even mad"
I get the feeling I'm missing a pop culture reference here...

I'm quite happy actually ![]()

I played a no-mance male dwarf noble who was more or less Tywin Lannister. That was fun. Out maneuvering Morrigan so that I get to live *and* defeat the arch demon without her and effectively telling her "go away, I don't need you" was fun.

People usually relate better to situations more similar to their own. 'Tis just normal.
