When asked about Blackwall their response was "Soon..."
I'm not sure how much credence I give this as evidence because if I had a dollar for every time the Devs said "Soon..." I would easily be the wealthiest person on this forum.

Wait, who's saying that tomorrow is Vivienne's Day?
I kind of have the gay guy equivalent of a girl crush on her and want her to be a bi option so that I can have a f/f option that I like for my lady dwarf playthrough.
Hmmm, I could be misremembering something I read on twitter....

I really hope that means we'll know all the LIs by tomorrow. That's my best outcome.
Then everyone should have some time to get used to their choices before release.
I think they very well may release the rest of the LIs tomorrow, at GaymerX. If not, the next will probably be Iron Bull. Most people expect him and it would even the count that's announced if they added another bi male. I'm not sure if they'll talk about race gates when they talk about sexuality. I think it's possible they'll release one before the other.

It appears I did! Sorry!
Still, my thought stands: what's the likelihood of getting the triple announcement tomorrow?

Maybe then, though it could also be confirmation that he isn't a romance option.
I predicted Dorian/Sera/Cass/Cullen/Josephine and their sexualities for the most part, but I really have no clue when it comes to who's left. I'd rather they do it quickly if they are going to, because thinking about it just makes me want to know.

Agreed. Best case scenario, by this time tomorrow, we'll know all of the LI's. Worst case scenario, we'll be exactly where we are right now, so it's just downhill from here.

We could get lucky! I'm assuming that all of the final characters are bi, so it would be a perfect place to announce them imo.

I have a feeling Patrick might have gone to GaymerX, at least in part, due to his writing of both Solas and the Iron Bull. It honestly fits.

Agreed. All the pieces are coming together...

Between that and my days playing WoW, I could have retired by now. ![]()

XD
Best case scenario please! *fingers crossed*

He also wrote a book with a prominent lesbian relationship recently though.
So ehh. I wouldn't take it as confirmation of anything.

This is what I'm hoping. It would be pretty cool if he wrote them both as bi males and they're basically polar opposites. That would make a pretty interesting point to talk from.

I know. It's entirely speculation on my end.

I'm sorta bouncing between Sera and Cullen at the moment in who I want my character to romance.I'll probaly just flip a coin when I play the game to help me decide.Lol
Has it really been that bad here not knowing whose romanciable and whose not?
Yeah, I am a noob to this thread.
The romance announcements are often worse than the constant speculation.

True,I recently read a article about some backlash concerning Dorian as a Gay Male romance option.Anders 2.0 that one is.
Like how much worse? Right now I'm thinking "Lost all my money horse betting and my horse just died on the track" type reaction.
Some people are throwing a fit over the fact Dorian is gay.

In the argument about whether "offense" is a legitimate reason to change a word, I think that dehumanization is key here. If a word was ever used for purposes of dehumanization or otherwise to denote someone as inferior - "colored" drinking fountains denoting blacks aren't good enough to drink at the same fountain with whites, "it" referring to objects or animals being applied to humans, "Japs" being a part of war propaganda designed to make you want to hate and kill Japanese people, than it shouldn't be used.
However, I think it's silly to assume every modern word that you happen to not like (are offended by) is dehumanizing. As an example, I acknowledge some American Indians may not like the term, but as it's a generally accepted term (even to the point of being included in names like AIM), I think it's silly for me to have to change it to something different every time I talk to a new person (Indian here, Native American there, Amerindian over there). My boyfriend (no offense if you are reading this) thinks the term "Jewish" can be offensive and it's safer to say "Hebrew." To me, this is just silly. Also, I think it's also very unfair to assume that anybody saying a word you don't like is intentionally being an ass. Saying "black people" is fair game. I'm not a racist if I don't say "people of color" or "African American."
And it's especially complicated when people are talking about gender, sex, and sexual orientation because people have *widely* divergent opinions on what all those terms mean and how they overlap and what causes them, etc. It's also deeply personal for *everybody* because we all have use aspects of those things to define ourselves. Somebody else's definitions almost always encrouch on *our* definitions we use for our own identity. I think people in general need to cut each other some slack in this particular arena, especially when it's apparent someone *isn't* trying to be an ass.
*Sorry for late response. Ignore at your leisure.

Please lets not bring up the "offended" talk again. It's off topic and just results in circular arguments.
On Topic: I had hoped people would be over the "Dorian is gay" announcement. Was I bummed? Sure. But that just means I make a manquisitor for him if I like him as much as I think I'm going to.
...why?
Because they're stupid, the same thing happened with Anders.
