I always romance Leliana usually & as much as i like her, it disappoints me that her relationship with a Fwarden is pretty much completely ignored apart from the love triangle conversations while the Mwarden has the camp dialog as well as party banter about their relationship

Why?

 

With Sera gay and Josephine bi, someone had to be the straight female LI. The choices there are between Vivienne and Cassandra, because there are only three female companions and two female advisers, and of those advisers one (Leliana) is not a LI at all.

 

And it is quite possible that Vivienne may not be a LI as well.

 

Agree completely. Also on paper feel Sera and Cassandra looked to have the most broad base appeal of the females so splitting the the 2 of them to lesbian/straight orientations probably made sense imo. That's before any character reasons which may very well have made the choice straightforward.

Well, actually, they did not have to, if we're on this "not everything will be equal" kick that's been going around. However, I believe Josephine would have been a better choice.

And if Vivienne isn't a LI, it's their final "**** off" to all lesbians.

Yes, but I'm quite certain that if it does happen, plenty of straight men will rise to the defense of themselves.

Yh i think we'll have 4-4 split, too, but Vivienne could be straight. That's what I'm afraid of personally.

I don't really care about having an equal number of choices. What I really want is good portrayals. That is, I don't want to sexually harass anyone or be harassed. I don't want my romance option to be significantly more complicated than others. I want a person of my preferred gender who wouldn't get slapped with a restraining order in RL.

I like Vivienne. But I'm also not that passionate about romances in general.

Well think that's an over simplification. Pretty sure i've heard interest(plus there's the whole wider purchasers beyond the hard core forums).

Personally i'm more interested in Viv than Josie, as an alternate playthrough type option if she's available.

I find it refreshing that there are more guys then girls for once and i'm fine with Cass and Josie are  our only options.
