I'm the only one who thinks it's weird that we never had a nice screenshot for Cassandra ? I'm wondering if Bioware is working on her face based on feedback...

I like older companions, in a general sense. I really like Blackwall's character and I'm excited to get to know him and pick his brain for information on the wardens.
That being said, I have no interest in romancing him. I don't expect him to be excluded based solely on my own taste, though.
Fair enough,I can't wait to pester him about the things he knows as well.![]()

I thought this was it, just in need of cropping. If I'm mistaken Cass fans, I do apologize. I just think she looked damn good here and it is a good screenshot in from the game. I wouldn't be too surprised if this ended up on her character blurb, just trimmed down:
And I know it's not quite the same, but I also thought she looked fantastic here as well:
That's what I mean when I saw I thought her screenshots so far looked really good.

As for the 'integrity of art' discussion going on, I'm a mural artist by trade, myself. I'm used to painting exactly what's asked of me according to the customer's wishes over what I might think would look better. Not trying to be rude to anyone, but I think sometimes the "starving artists" are the ones that cling a little too hard to the bohemian idealism that your art is a series of special snowflakes that no one else has a right to criticize. If you want to make your own paintings and try to sell them, then good luck, it works for some people. If you're taking commissioned work or a paid, permanent position, then you need to focus on what the person paying you for a specific thing actually wants. However, there's a line here that people need to understand. The cinematics team is employed by Bioware, not Random Q. Possible Game Buyer.

You'll definitely get one, since Solas, Varric, IB and Blackwall are all at least in their forties

Every screen shot of Cassandra is nice because her face is already perfect.

Oh you are talking about the trailers. Well, yeah. I meant more screenshots ( everyone has one I think ) specifically made to appeal like :
But maybe bioware judged it was enough with the trailer, indeed.

Blackwall was a Warden-Constable ever since the Fourth Blight and knowing Grey Warden hiearchy those positions are probaly reserved for the most seasoned of Wardens.
So add it all up and Blackwall might be in the late forties to early fifties range.Personally I love companions that are old and experienced because they often have stories and advice if the player asks them.
That's why he gives me the mentor figure/ and maybe father figure vibe than a romance vibe

I'd say that Blackwall, Iron Bull, and Solas don't have the kind of high-quality, high-resolution, highly detailed face map close-ups that Cullen, Leliana, and Josephine had.

But it's obvious it wasn't random screenshots and they were specifically made to impress people. For Solas, you could even notice how his pants are TIGHT in one of the screenshots. It wasn't innocent in my opinion.

I think you mean Fifth Blight. Blackwall may be older, but he's not several centuries old ![]()
According to WoT, Warden-Constable is the second in command to the Warden Commander of a given region. And is typically the one who runs the battlefield when Grey Wardens are deployed in a fight. So it certainly requires experience in combat and in commanding troops.
However, we do not know when Blackwall took his Joining (before 9:30 Dragon, of course) He could have been a soldier for years before volunteering to become a Grey Warden. It's possible he's in his early-mid 40s, but have taken his Joining only a short time before the Warden did.

Oops I got my Blights mixed up.Lol
But yeah to be a Warden-Constable means you probaly have to have years of experience fighting Darkspawn and such,so Blackwall obviously was'nt young when he became one.
