Wrong. He falls in love with a female mage Warden whether she's an elf or human.
So that definitely means Cullen's not race-gated, IMO. Or maybe he's race-gated to only elves and humans, if possible?

We don't truly know everything about Sera and Dorian, Cullen could in-fact be race-gated for story reasons and so could Cass
I wouldnt mind that actually, if Cass is being race-gated for story reasons.

In DA2 if imported from a female mage playthrough, Cullen will mention the Warden, and it is very apparent that he is still in love with her.

So, I take it that no one sees Blackwall as the race-gated male LI?
If it is the last unannounced male LI that is the race-gated one I totally hope that it's Blackwall. I would play whatever race/gender combination I have to to be able to climb that wall.
