I still don't think Vivienne will be romancable. But that means it'll be uneven if she isn't...
Would Bioware let the last two be male though? Possibly, the romances were uneven for ME3 after all.
The fact that the two race-gated romances are for story purposes gives hope Varric might still be one, though Cullen could just as easily be non-qunari fem.
The Da team is a different one from the ME team though and the DA team seems to have things better together than the ME team

Now, the last male LI is a mystery, since both Solas and Blackwall have an equal chance of being LI and not being LI

DA2 had Sebastian but literally every other game besides DA:O had more female love interests.
So having 3 female love interests and 5 male ones doesn't have much precedent.
Well,I know how much effort it takes to create even a short scene of the game. All I want to say is that so ar none of the companions have picked my interest in terms of romancing them or even befriending them in any ways. The only that had made me a bit curious is Cassandra. Others....no. They are lack something but I am not able to pinpoint it yet.

Well, you could also flirt with Tallis, who like him wasn't even seen by the game itself as a LI (no achievement). So that 6 potential romance lines in DA2, still even
You want to romance Varric and I totally understand why you'd want Bianca to be the bad guy to clear the way for him to move on and be happy with someone else.

Did you read my post about Bianca? My ideas that she could be a good guy, either trying to help us with the Red Templars or otherwise passing information onto the the Inquisitor? That only one of my ideas involved her being a bad guy in any way?
I'm sorry, but I never ever said that I "wanted her to be the bad guy in order to romance him." Please don't put words in my mouth. 
Again, Bianca isn't why I think he might not be a romance. These are the reasons that I think he might not be available that have nothing to do with Fade Nightmares, or Bianca:
1) He's hundreds of miles away from home. As the devs pointed out, the Wounded Coast was too far out of town for him. He might not be able to open up because of being that far out of his comfort zone.
2) He might not feel that this is the best time for romance with the Fade Tears everywhere, and might want to stay focused only the mission and staying alive.
3) Being too worried about losing his friends again like he did after Kirkwall when the companions split ways.
4) He might still feel quite guilty over his accidental hand in the Kirkwall Incident. I can see that kind of guilt and pain eating at someone after awhile.
5) On a real world level, dwarves usually the least played race, which automatically drops LI chances.
6) BioWare hasn't done a dwarven romance yet, and I don't entirely expect them to.
I can understand why you are doubting so much, but it isn't over until the devs tell us such. I have a feeling that we're not going to have to wait much longer.

That was a 3/2 gender difference, not a whooping 5/3.

Sebastian hardly counts, even the game doesn't really acknowledge it. He's the only LI not to comfort you after Leandra died, the only LI that doesn't get jealous if you flirted with Tallis and the only LI to not apparently have not left Hawke's side.
Speaking of which, I wonder if his romance will even be acknowledged in DA:I...

Nah, I think it'll totally be Blackwall if it's between those two. Blackwall has gotten his own fair share of hinting after all.

If we think that the DA team is definitely going to do an even split, Vivienne is definitely going to be an LI, and her race gating will probably be for elves. And that's assuming she'll be bisexual.
How is bisexuality viewed in Orlais amongst nobles? Is it considered taboo like being involved with an elf?

Very true. Granted there is the calling but I guess Bioware just can't make a DA game without a grey warden LI XD. Age shouldn't matter, btw, since both he and Solas are the oldest party memebers

No. It's very likely that Orlais is the most LGBT-friendly country in Thedas. As long as a lover isn't an elf or qunari, of course XD
