I just want to say, having synonymes doesn't mean, that the words are quite the same. leaner for example looks like an extremer form of slender.

Fair enough, I'm using the dynamic meaning of the word then slender and sporty works too

If Bioware had offered up female versions of garrus, thane and jacob, as the romanceable options for straight guys in ME2, would you have considered yourself satisfied with these options? Note that the characters are otherwise exactly the same as their male counterparts and any history you share with them is the same, only the genders have been changed.

Garrus alien lines up with tali alien with chicken hips and no certainty of appearance below mask.
Jacob and Miranda line up physically. Toned six pack vs strahovski beauty
That leaves thane, alien designed to be pretty with pretty but very unconventional tats and piercings and shaved head.

Now character wise and import into me3 wise women suffered IMO.

Yes but Beast was all dark and tormented and and putting all that in the body of a little traditional disney prince felt a bit like a loss
I think I was expecting someone a little more grown-up and a little more tough/wild looking after years as an animal. I'd have probably been OK with it if I hadnt watched it for the first time as an adult

I'd have swapped Jacob for Miranda or Jack or Tali any day of the week. I am still annoyed at the way my Fem!Shep was forced into acting like a cat in heat around him. Garrus is far and away my favourite of all the ME companions/LI's though.

My childhood was distinctly lacking in Disney films. Prior to my late teens I think I'd only seen the Lion King and Cinderella, and the Lady and the Tramp

Watching Beauty and the Beast as an adult I may have spoiled it a little for my friends by my incredulous comments of "that wardrobe is a person. She's ripping out her guts to give Belle a dress ! " and don't even get me started on what the powder puff and fork people had to be going through

But I loved it, it's now one of my favourite Disney films

If Vivienne is a LI, then she might be race-gated for Humans only and her relationship may be asexual. She may only romance you to have status and because of society's prejudice against interracial relationships. Based on her description, I think it may be plausible. After all, she seems to prioritize career and power more than personal stuff. I know some people in real life who are like that too, actually.

When I was looking at Thane's picture my first thought was...he looks poisonous. Apparently, I was correct.  Hallucinations and rashes. Can't get that from Jack, well hallucinations not sure about the rash 

You wanna talk about Thane and misogyny, let's talk about his relationship with Irikah. It wasn't so bad when their history was vague, and any number of factors could have made it so that the best way to provide for their family was for Thane to go back to work as an assassin, but it turns out that Irikah was actually a very driven and educated scientist and the only reason Thane went back to work as an assassin was because he didn't like his other job and didn't want to stay home with the baby .
