The Isabela romance was open. You could totally let her sleep with Zevran while romancing. Unless you specifically say 'no sexytimes,' Isabela assumes 'yes sexytimes.'

 

I wished it would have been something more important in Isabela romance to be honest.

Open relationship are an interesting topic for me , I have really mixed feelings about this , IRL.

On one hand , having multiple partners and not mixing sex and love is part of Isabela sex life..I'm cool with that.

On the other hand, if you're the faithful monogamous type , it's really strange being casual about your partner going all "Hey I'm going to have sex with this person , I'll be back in five minutes."

 

I always romance Isabela with a Hawke who's not into monogamy.

Yeah I always build my hawke/Isabela ships as an understanding that they can invite others into their bed but not go off and sleep with others alone.

I'm really hoping that she will fill the void for me. I think she is beautiful I just hope she isn't to high maintenance for me.

I find the different reactions interesting. I don't see her as beautiful at all.

After taking a look at the latest list of romance options I was glad to see that a female Inquisitor will be able to romance someone that is a bit scholarly. At least Josephine's description makes her seem well learned. I'm a bit saddened that the male options are pretty much warriors and well I have some rather negative views on Cullen after dragon age 2. Those comments about mages being weapons and his failure to note mages being made tranquil illegally in the circle he's suppose to be protecting created a lot of hostility. I'm not sure if he would have ever been an option though given that my Inquisitor is going to be a qunari mage. As the leader of the inquisition it seems like she'd be most everything he fears.

Sure, but you don't have to be attracted to the LI for your character to romance them.  Obviously, I understand why most people don't do as I do, but its definitely an area where separating yourself from character can lead to a better story/RP experience.  I'd point to Garrus as an example of this.

I get what you're saying, but my reason's for not romancing garrus were alway based on looking at him as shepard and concluding 'that's never going to work'  same goes for IB with a dwarf, elf and human (although I accept it could work better than with garrus)  It's about how much I can suspend my disbelief rather than if I'm attracted to them as myself.  I  Love the Thane romance (ME2 only), but personally irl I wouldn't go there  .

As trite as this is, I don't think many gay males will be crying themselves to sleep over Leliana. And conversely I doubt many of the straight males who might miss her have managed to completely change orientation instead of trying out Cass or Josephine.

And, I can't imagine many of the ladies who romanced her deciding that their only option is to play as a gay male either :S

Some have complained that Leliana was the most attractive woman in the line up, as well as a number of people commenting that Dorian is better looking then the fugly females.

Leliana is saying, "You passed me over before because you thought Morrigan was prettier, now you can't have me. Want pretty? Enjoy Dorian."

I hope nobody takes my comments on Sera the wrong way I really hope that she ends up being a character that I can fall madly in love with, my thoughts are based on the little information that we have now. She could end up making me forget all about Cassandra like Leliana did with Morrigan. I'm still hurting on Cassandra so my judgment may be clouded.

This also applies for Josephine and hopefully Vivienne.

 

 Yeah, i get what you mean. Now that we have Josie and Sera who both seem really interesting characters, i'm not that much hurt from the Cass news anymore.... even though i had planned on romancing her with a feisty qunari Quizzy *cries*

 

 

Sera won me over with her carefree 'idon'tgiveafook' and sassy personality and Josie is so attractive, she reminds me of my first rl crush (for a moment i went WHAT and I found myself wondering how she ended up there until i realized it was a game . No kidding, the similarity is uncanny)
