We have 6 out of 8 now right?

companions:

Cassandra Pentaghast - straight
Sera - gay
Dorian - gay
Iron Bull - bi

advisors:

Josephine Montilyet - bi
Cullen - straight

2 remaining romance options for 4 companions: Vivienne, Varric, Blackwall and Solas. There's a bi and a straight option missing from the companion romances if they're going for equal represenation, more specifically a bi female and a straight male. It may be Varric and Vivienne. Am curious to see who the last two will be and who they'll be available to.

I just wanted Dorian and Iron Bull to be available to a male Inquisitor. I'm completely sated, romance-wise, for DAI. :P

There's also still the possibility that Solas might be one of the two last romance options.  He's particularly erudite as well, which would be nice, to be honest.

That would be nice. That he is a self taught mage is quite impressive really. It seems not every mage needs to go to the circle to learn to resist the influence of the spirits.

Yeah me too, but I'm still curious about Varric. Will he stay married to Bianca forever? <_<

no! not a straight male...otherwise females would get two straight options -.- NO! not again!

They already had Sebsatian as additional option.

It would lead to all groups getting three options, except gay males. absolutely NOT fair

And the twist is he's immune to spirits because he already has one in him. :/

If think only fans care about having a companion over an advisor.

No, they both need to be bisexual for equal numbers to be achieved.

This is why I'm worried about Varric being the last guy.

Yeah, i get what you mean. Now that we have Josie and Sera who both seem really interesting characters, i'm not that much hurt from the Cass news anymore.... even though i had planned on romancing her with a feisty qunari Quizzy *cries*

Sera won me over with her carefree 'idon'tgiveafook' and sassy personality and Josie is so attractive, she reminds me of my first rl crush (for a moment i went WHAT and I found myself wondering how she ended up there until i realized it was a game :P. No kidding, the similarity is uncanny)

Now, lets pray for bi Vivienne.

You just reminded me of mine fifth grade sharing a book with the girl sitting next to me. I crushed on her all through grade school. If I picked a DA character to compare her to it would be Leliana.

I don't think that they are looking at companion romances as separate from advisor romances.  They are all lumped together, so right now, we are even across the gender/sexuality divide.  If the last two are a bisexual man and woman, then it would stay even, even if some races don't get that third choice.

Some have complained that Leliana was the most attractive woman in the line up, as well as a number of people commenting that Dorian is better looking then the fugly females.

Leliana is saying, "You passed me over before because you thought Morrigan was prettier, now you can't have me. Want pretty? Enjoy Dorian."

She is tho, nice troll Bioware, nice troll.

Has any one seen the tweets between Patrick Weekes and John Epler, too cute. I wish I knew how to post them.

I hope nobody takes my comments on Sera the wrong way I really hope that she ends up being a character that I can fall madly in love with, my thoughts are based on the little information that we have now. She could end up making me forget all about Cassandra like Leliana did with Morrigan. I'm still hurting on Cassandra so my judgment may be clouded.

This also applies for Josephine and hopefully Vivienne.

I think Sera is cute and she'll probably be the one I romance in my first playthrough if Vivienne isn't an LI, but knowing that it was confirmed that she was killed in the preview makes me think that she's completely optional and not a part of the main plot.  If she dies no matter what in the end, or betrays the Inquisitor, I will regretfully have to pass, cause I've had quite enough Tragic Lesbian Romances to last a lifetime, thanks very much.  Josephine looks and sounds pleasant and agreeable, but that's not what I look for in a video game romance, especially for a character who isn't a companion, and if there's any hint of a power imbalance in the relationship with the Inquisitor that will be a huge nope for me.  And although I find Cullen and Dorian attractive, one I have problems with ideologically, and the other is off limits because I don't play male characters.

So yeah, I'm very amused that this Greedy Bisexual may pass on all eight romances, depending on what I hear and see about them.

Viviene, at least. And I think Cass has modes attractive features despite being way more butch in appearance.

The devs have confirmed you can complete the game with only ONE companion at your side, so I don't think that makes Sera mean less in terms of plot.

Also, we have no idea the context of the demo. So I don't think we can take too much away from it yet. :)

I didn't know talking about the preview (or the recent articles about the preview) was off limits in this thread?  And I assume that different choices will change the outcome of that scenario.

Honestly, if there was a warning that we needed to use spoiler tags, I would have, but I assumed any info already released was fair game to talk about here.

I really hope Viv is a bi option otherwise my interest is at zero for LI's. Cass is pretty, don't like the flaming she gets from some, if anything I'd call her a soft butch myself.
