8 LI's sounds too good to be true... ._.
Wouldn't be a surprise considering they said this game has the highest number of romance options.

Or Viv could be the straight option. Who knows. Also since they said the game has more romances than previous DA games, i assume more than 5 LI's.

but even 6 LI's would be the highest number cause in DA2, there were 5.
Cassandra straight, Vivienne bi makes the most sense to me in light of their characters.
Also TOR romances with that marriage and baby ever after epilogues...why. Just why does it seem every romance ends in marriage and talk of babies.
The only time I thought it made sense was with Elara Dorne - and even then it felt kinda weird.
No babies or marriage in DA:I plox.

I doubt they'll give the straight women a straight NPC LI and not a companion. Cullen will most likely be bi. Or if he's straight then Scribbles will be straight too.
Man, i need them to announce the LI's already.
You think I'm taunting you over the 21 romances in TOR that were all straight?

I'll be honest, I really don't care what sexuality any of the companions are.

Perhaps I'm asking you, in the middle of your angst over possibly only having two romances, to imagine a game where there were 21 romances and you got 0.
I admit, I had totally forgotten about that..... I'll take back what I said about Cass.

Corso and Quinn made sense to me because Corso was a farmboy and Quinn was a good little imperial.
But otherwise nope.
And yeahI don't mind babies or marriage as long as that's not the only way the romance ends. Some of my charas are all for babies and marriage some run screaming in the opposite direction at those words.

The actual quote was something along the lines of "most romances than any previous BioWare game." ME3 had a total of 10 romances if you imported.
As for TOR, I believe they said it wasn't taken into account in that statement.

The quote was clarified later to only mean DA.

What about Vette? ![]()

Which they later corrected by saying most romances in any DA only game.

really? did they say "most romances than any previous BioWare game."? I thought it was just, was people interpreted....I'm just asking, because I haven't seen their statement.
What about Vette?
You can't even reproduce with her as the default SW races. So it makes even less sense.
(Unless purebloods and twi'leks can? I don't think they can but I'm not sure).
Cassandra straight, Vivienne bi makes the most sense to me in light of their characters.
I dunno. Cassandra's face during the tavern concept art... that's the face of someone fascinated and scared by it.

I hate when the boards turn into a 'Who is getting it worse?' Olympics. They are going to try to make it more equitable this time around. If it is gay people who get less options, we will be annoyed but deal with it like we have in every other single game with LI options where we've also gotten it worse. If it is straight women, they will be annoyed but deal with it like they did in ME3. If it is straight guys, then they can be annoyed and will have to deal with it.
Or maybe some of us just won't mind. It wouldn't be the first time I rolled a PC who died alone, and that already seems to be the most likely scenario anyway. Truly, I think we all could do with dropping the "let's see who's biggest". As long as everyone gets more than one option and no one gets overly screwed or overly privileged, I call it fair.
Personally, I kinda hope there are a bit more bi characters than not if only because I don't want to see anyone miss out on someone they wanted to romance with their preferred gender. Like I know I am going to have a Dorian-romance playthrough and I WANT it to be with a female Quizzy but I also know that there are tons of male players that ALSO want to romance Dorian with a male-Quisitor and I would rather both of us be happy rather than one or the other be upset.
((So if I had a vote, Dorian for bi plzkthx... he is the only one besides Cullen and Blackwall I am into at this point where we know nothing))
But I like Dorian so much at this point, that unless he turns out to be Doc 2.0, I would totally play a BroQuisitor to ride that mustache AND THAT IS THE FIRST TIME I CAN SAY THAT. There hasn't ever been someone I would plan a m/m PT for before.
I dunno. Cassandra's face during the tavern concept art... that's the face of someone fascinated and scared by it.
That was the face of someone who's prude (i assume Cass is a lil prudish?). Or someone who has never heard of this 'move' and was quite fascinated. Who knows. ![]()

I must have missed that.
I do remember they said they didn't count TOR or something.
