Mother Nature created Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve.

I find some women attractive and some men attractive. It's usually their personality that attracts me the most, but that's what being bisexual means to me. It isn't very complicated for me.
Straight folks are only attracted the opposite gender, but have certain qualities that they like in a woman or man. Bisexuality isn't any different in that sense, we're just attracted to both genders. Funny thing is that gender doesn't seem to matter very much if a person has qualities you like as a bisexual.
If your interest is in rough biker types with hearts of gold, with blue eyes and red hair, as a bisexual, that is more likely to appeal to you no matter the gender the person in question was.
Think of this way: With friendships regardless of sexual orientation, you're probably going to just hang out with who you like and who you have the most interests in common. Bisexuals are like that, but can be on a romantic and sexual level too.
Re: the bold, absolutely. That said, for me, physical type is really important. I happen to like sharp, lithe, more androgynous features (probably why I like Cassandra a lot). Once someone falls in that box, whether they're wielding a mage staff or not is pretty much irrelevant. Personality and chemistry is much more important after that.
It's honestly hard for me to think about it in identity terms because I'm really uncomfortable with labels. People just need to label, though, so I try and find something that feels comfortable for them.
I'm not sure the Dalish are sexually repressive. I've not gotten that from the limited info concerning their approach to sexuality on wiki. I think it's more that she's just been fairly ostracized in her very small social environment, as an individual.
But, personally, I don't consider Fenris to be "ambiguous" in my game. He can awkwardly flirt with me and then hook up with Isabela. That's not very ambiguous.
The dalish appear to hold fairly strict to the concepts of waiting until marriage/bonding, or whatever they call it, and being monogamous after that point, and due to elven pressure in regards to reproducing, homosexuality doesn't seem to be given any real consideration. Compared to some real world attitudes, it's definitely on the milder end of restrictiveness, but most of the rest of Thedas seems considerably more liberal on the matter.
My only problem with the DA2 approach: It turned bisexuality into a game mechanic. I enjoyed the romances and it was done with the best of intentions. Still, that was the result. Meanwhile, lesbians and gay people didn't have representation, they had a character that they could romance no matter the gender. Not the same thing.
Bisexuality isn't just about sex; it's about your past relationships as well. Including romantic relationships that don't involve sex. There is asexual bisexuals and lesbians out there. I've had relationships with other women where sex wasn't involved.
The only characters in DA2 that ever came across to me as bisexual where the only ones that actually talked about men and women in a sexual/romantic fashion: Anders and Isabela. The rest were left vague and were really there for the convenience of the player. I've also seen folks try to use DA2 as "proof" that bisexuals aren't real. Those are the minority, but almost criminally willfully ignorant.
I do miss the openness of that system, but I'm more than happy to trade it for some honest representation of not just bisexual players, but for our gay and lesbian friends as well.
It's a game it's all a game mechanic, and if everyone was Bi than Straight people never had a representation either they were Bisexual only if our character was Bisexual. It was Biowares way of letting people have there cake and eat it to which isn't a bad thing for something you paid $60 for, you're going to make more people happy by letting them do what they want than restricting them and only the childish whiners will find fault with that.
What I'm getting from you is "I don't want people to have it because I don't like it" which is a spoiled 4 year olds mentality to the situation. It really takes nothing away from you having characters that they could romance no matter the gender. It's a game it's not supposed to be 100% accurate, not that it really matters anyway since like I said before modes will mode all restrictions away.
FYI Asexuality (or nonsexuality) is the lack of sexual attraction to anyone. So an asexual bisexuals/ lesbians is a bit of an oxymoron, odds are these people just weren’t that into you............
Are we still talking about romances in Inquisition?
Well, I was busy out-trolling a troll, and then proceeded to twerk as per usual. I'm over it now, though. Then people started talking about their own personal sexual attractions so IDK what's what at this point.

Are we talking about Cammen and Gheyna from DA:O?
so yeah, romance in the game...how about it?
Are we talking about Cammen and Gheyna from DA:O?
Aye; it takes a high persuasion skill to talk either of them into the sack, neither of them really seem to know what you're talking about at first, and both of them are extremely ashamed afterwards, and you get chewed out by the clan's First if you bed either of them or convince them to hook up with each other without Cammen collecting a pelt and officially becoming an adult.

I'll tell you after I've played the game. Until then, no idea.
Anyone feeling any different about their previous romance predictions?

I was mostly still talking about my concerns about the new gating system at that point, I thought. lol
Anyone feeling any different about their previous romance predictions?
Mine were all wrong so yes.
I don't even care anymore. I hope everyone gets the character they want and I'll play a celibate like Leliana or Warrior Nun.
Anyone feeling any different about their previous romance predictions?
Well, I didn't have to revise my prediction concerning Iron bull. ![]()

I don't know. Everyone I expected to be an LI has been so far, but I got a couple gates wrong. I thought Cullen would be bi and I thought Iron Bull would be gated. So, I guess I'll stick with Viv and Solas, but I'm giving up on guessing the gates.

Thanks! I was always too much of a softee (cue: Leliana voice) to not pair them up, and I don't think I ever spoke with the First after I did that.

It's scary cuz mine are all right ![]()

Leliana has 5-somes at the Pearl, so I don't know what you're talking about.
Well, I didn't have to revise my prediction concerning Iron bull.
Hold onto that forever. Never let it go. Bring it up when Dragon Age 16 is being talked about. You've earned the right.
I hadn't made any predictions in the past year until recently the only one I hoped for was Sera being bi and she ended up being something even better lol. Long time ago I thought Cassandra might be bi but that was wrong and I was wrong on Iron Bull so....... I still think the last 2 are the gated ones though.
Leliana has 5-somes at the Pearl, so I don't know what you're talking about.
Wait, the highest I went is four. What's the five? (Warden, Izzy, Leliana, Zevran... and...?)

http://dgaider.tumbl...ere-romanceable
I am okay with asking a player to play a different gender or sexuality if they are solely interested in romancing a specific character…but not with requiring them to do so just to have an equitable number of choices.
So, fair to expect that straight and gay inquisitors will get the same number of options?
