I didn't know rogues were that unpopular, maybe I should try playing as one more, I always romance rogues lol (Leliana and Isabela and now Sera) but never played one myself. 

 

I'm pretty sure that's one reason why rogue is a less popular class.  It's hard to have 2 rogues in a party, so romancing a rogue when you are a rogue means taking your LI out is risky.  I romanced Leliana as a rogue and that was so dumb why did I do that?

 

My takeaway from this is that Bioware needs to stop making so many great rogue companions because I always want them in the party.

I was wondering do you guys think Varric or another party member will talk to the Inquisitor about their romance like in the Friendly Concern quest? I thought that was really cool and was a giod indication of the friendship between Varric and Hawke.

I don't know about the not taking two rogues in a party thing, Varric and Isabela were always in my party in DA 2

I played a rogue in DA2 and still took Isabela and Varric most of the time, because they were my BFFs. I play on casual and mostly play for story, though.

I really hope we get something like that and something along the lines of the banter between Morrigan and Alistair when your friends with him and romancing her. I'd also like to see it in reverse where a follower gives you a warning not to break your LIs heart or else, kind of like Isabela's warning to a Hawke romancing Merrill.

I took Varric for the banter and Isabela was my love interest, my female Hawke is usually a Mage or Warrior

I struggled trying to play as a rogue in DA2, I found myself running away from the Arishok like a crazy mad woman. It took me forever to kill him.

It's definitely the worst trying to kill him with a rogue. I did rogue first and then mage and was shocked how much easier it was the second time. You can just freeze him. lol

I almost always play with 2 rogues in the party. Having one ranged and one melee rogue is awesome. There should be no trouble romancing another rogue; just make your LI melee if you are ranged or ranged if you are melee.

Depending on what difficulty you were on, the Arishok (like frankly all DA2 boss battles) was a broken mess. Still not as bad as Corypheus.

Force+Elemental magic = The bastard can't move for most of the fight.
