I personally would prefer an asexual option within a romance rather than a full asexual romance, due to resource constraints.

Yep, this is accurate Deadly. Hopefully that brightens your day.
I know it isn't much, but for this game, some of the relationships won't end with, "And your reward for the romance is sex." I'm not sure if it's some or all where sex isn't required, but I know it is an option for the game in some fashion.
Sex should never be treated as a reward.
It'd definitely be more much more fun for me
Same. I love manipulative evil brainy types.
random question but what's been said about the dialogue wheel this time around? Can we be diplomatic/sarcastic/aggressive again like in DA 2 or did they change it?
From what I heard (and someone please correct me if I'm wrong,) we'll be able to pick those answers. However, the auto-dialogue is supposed to be neutral.

Absolutely.

The constraints of determining how many LIs there can be. I'm for asexuals having options, but a great many sexual people would take it badly if one of their preferred options turned out to be wholly asexual. How do you determine which gender and orientation gets that one? How many asexual options would there even be? How many more LIs would need to be made for wholly fair accommodation?
The tones, howewer, aren't the ones in DA2. They're Noble/Clever/Direct.From what I heard (and someone please correct me if I'm wrong,) we'll be able to pick those answers. However, the auto-dialogue is supposed to be neutral.

What do you think it means to be asexual? Because based on what you're saying, I'm pretty sure you've got the wrong idea about it.
EDIT: And, as an asexual, having sexual romance options in games doesn't bother me at all.

Oops. I should have said, "those types of answers" then. Thanks for the clarification.
Hmm, I just hope they do some research into it. A lot of people think they know what it means, but they don't.
I love BioWare, so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt for now.
I wish you luck.
ugh that's kind of a let down I loved Sarcastic Hawke
Isabela once trafficked elf slaves. When she was about to get caught, to save herself from the gallows she disposed of the evidence of her crimes by tossing her "cargo" overboard, leaving them to drown.
It appalls me that Fenris could sleep with her after that.

Doubt he knew.

That might be the "clever" option if it is a the smartass.

Well, then, tell me. I'm all ears.

And there's also a reaction wheel, to pick what emotion you want to express at certain points
ugh that's kind of a let down I loved Sarcastic Hawke
I really think that clever it's going to be more/less =sarcastic but maybe with the option for other kind of responses when being sarcastic it's really out of place (like when saemus dies, or when your own mother dies.... I love sarcastic Hawke but I hate the "his murdering days are over" line, said to make it even worse with the most lighthearted voice
And there you don't even have the option to pick anything else )
The new 3 options sounds like the 3 older options by different names to me, anyway
I loved my sarcastic Hawke so much. He was the best guy in the game, no doubt. XD

Asexuality is when a person doesn't experience sexual attraction. Some people might see a person, like a celebrity they've never met, and think they're hot and that they would totally sleep with them. That doesn't happen with asexuals. Being asexual doesn't mean that you don't have a sex drive or that you don't enjoy sex. It just means you don't experience sexual attraction.
Some asexuals don't take pleasure in sex. Some of them take no pleasure but don't mind having sex to please their partner. Others (such as myself) are
sexually averssive", meaning that they don't want to have sex. There are various reasons for this, most commonly being that they think sex is gross.
These things also apply to making out and what-have-you.

Same. I love manipulative evil brainy types.
They're the kinds I always play (first). The kinds that would excel in The Grand Game in Orlais, hah. Stupid evil, and mustache-twirling one-dimension evil, and/or brutish evil just has no appeal to me, it's too hollow.

Well, thank you for telling me. How would an asexual romance work, then?

Most asexuals still feel romantic attraction.
I don't really like the word "evil". Most choices are entirely subjective, anyway. I don't believe any companion in Dragon Age has been anywhere near evil. Most antagonists are even pretty morally grey.
It appalls me that Fenris could sleep with her after that.
To be fair he doesn't know and I'm pretty sure she wouldn't tell him.

They're so fun.
I do that for my the lulz playthrough. Because people following that kind of person around because they're the only ones willing to get things done tickles my funny bone.
