Comic con is at the end of the month so it's a possibility. They might also show off the Keep customization, since they have expressed an interest in showing that off before release.

San Diego Comic Con starts on the 24th.  It's been implied that there will be a lot of focus on the next Mass Effect game, but that doesn't necessarily mean other announcements won't happen *fingers crossed*

I guess comic con is only about a week from now, starting. Maybe they're waiting for that. I kinda hope they say something before then, though, because it's boring when there's no news coming out. I mean, not even necessarily about LIs, but it's going to be boring to get nothing for a week+. Maybe we'll see some of Skyhold and learn more about the advisor's roles, since David Gaider mentioned we'd see it in his latest interview.

That, and more generally, having options for Smales, Gmales, Sfemales and Gfemales being stricly equal and as numerous as 3 would set a very nice and positive precedent.

I don't know why I'm following this topic personally, I already have my romance decided and that won't be budging  for my main story. Still, it is interesting to see what other options may have been available.

I'm currently playing DAII for my first time (no spoilers please  ) and I've just lost Leandra to that freak after romancing Merrill. I don't like magic among humans but I gave her a chance because she's an elf but now I'm kinda regretting it, she's cute but I feel like in the end I'm going to finish on bad terms with her (if possible).

I've done all the romances (so to speak ...) at one time or another, but my 'canon' world state is:

 

Origins: F!Cousland/Alistair. (Probably the most clichéd pairing possible, but they're awfully cute. And it is good to be the queen.)

 

Awakening: If she hadn't already been spoken for, my Cousland would so have gone for Nathaniel. I think there's probably another universe where there was no Blight and they ended up married.

 

DA2: Hawke rivalmanced Sebastian, but she was aggressively pro-mage freedom and BFFs with Anders. So that turned out how you would expect. *cries*

Didn't romance anyone. I didn't like Zevran that much to romance him and preferred just having him as a close companion.

Hawke x Fenris; 100% friendship and sided with the mages, so they both lived.

I think because over the past 600 pages I've just seen speculation instead of discussion of what we know I'd gotten confused

Ah yes, forever Queen Cousland.
And if Alistair wasn't an option, I would have romanced Nathaniel if possible too. The whole drama of it all with the slaughter of the Couslands and the revenge killing of Arl Howe.
That would have been juicy.

And then friendmanced Anders with Mage Lady Hawke, apostates on the run!

I'm going to go for female mage elf with either Iron Bull or Solas if he is available I think (though it may be Cullen.. Eee choices)

DA2 - f!mage Hawke/Fenris, f!mage Hawke/Merrill

 

For the record, I don't generally play males unless there's a compelling reason to do so. Like Morrigan.     And I also favored elf Wardens, which means no Leliana romancing because of that little speech she gives about Orlesian elves.   I have played m!Mahariel with Zevran and I like it, but for me the primary point to playing a male Warden is to romance Morrigan (for Witch Hunt too), and I always give her an elf dude because I can make them pretty and I like pretty men.   Which is why I go for the elf dude LIs, clearly.

For DAI, I'm hoping Cullen isn't gated against qunari, because I have one in mind for him. A Direct rogue.
