Origins: male human rogue; Leliana.
II: female rogue; Anders, I hope. (still working on it)
Inquisition? I have no idea.

DAO:
Canon: Female human rogue, romanced and married Alistair.
Alt1: Female elven mage, romanced Alistair, became his mistress.
Alt2: Female Dalish rogue, romanced Zevran. Incomplete game.
DA2:
Canon: Female mage, friendmanced Fenris.
Alt1: Female rogue, friendmanced Fenris.
Alt2: Female mage, friendmanced Anders. Incomplete game.
DAI:
Female human mage, romancing Cullen.
Female elven rogue, hopefully romancing Solas.
DA:O - male human rogue, married Anora with Leliana as his mistress
DA 2 - female rogue romanced Merrill and supported mages
I'm still unsure about DA:I romances.
Semi-confirmed rumor: Maria is one of the two last LIs for Inquisition.
Enjoying reading these.
Both are my main canon and first playthroughs
DA:Origins
Male Dalish elf, 2 handed warrior- romanced Morrigan, a good match, i made some nasty decisions with him... but mostly a good guy. Went through the mirror together.
DA2
Male rogue, - romanced Anders on the friend path, killed him at the end :/
DAI
Qunari, not sure what class - Not sure who i will romance either, liking Vivienne so far... if not her then scribbles. Very subject to change when i get into the game though.
And she is not race-gated.
Then I know who to romance on my second run.
DAO - female human rogue, romanced & married Alistair
DA2 - female mage, rivalmanced Fenris
DAI - female human mage, romancing Iron Bull
Of course, this is not counting the numerous alt playthroughs I have. DA is certainly worth the money for replay value.
My first plan anyway:
DAO - Female Warrior Cousland, romanced Alistair, refused Dark Ritual and Alistair sacrifices himself.
DA2 - Male Mage, romanced Anders, sided with mages and ran off with Anders.
DAI - TBA
I hope with the romances in inquisition, we are able to be a bit shy when we flirt or in general with our LI. I hated how in DA2 you were really forward and aggressive in your options, which works for some people, but sometimes I want to rp a more timid PC and carry that into their romance dialogue as well.
That's why I always liked Leliana's romance...there was the option for you to be more forward or have her do it.
The Warden can even be a bit clueless sometimes ("I'm going to go write in my journal" comes to mind.)
In my canon run:
Origins: My Surana Warden romanced Morrigan, after establishing a solid friendship first. Admittedly, he did flirt with some people prior to this romance (although none of the other companions), given where he grew up in. Like Anders said, "The Ferelden Circle was more fun. Everyone was kissing everyone."
DAII: Apostate Champion romanced Merrill, although my headcanon told me Elegant and Athenril were prior love interests of his.
DA:I: No one for my Lavellan Inquisitor.
DAO human female mage romance Leliana
DA2 femhawke mage romance Isabela
DAI female human mage romance--not sure
DAO:
human/elf male mage Zevran
human/elf female rogue Leliana/Alistair
human male mage Morrigan
DA2:
male Hawke mage Anders / Fenris
female Hawke rogue: Isabela/Sebastian
DAI:
male human/elf/qunari mage Dorian / Iron Bull / Solas, Varric or Blackwall if available
female human/elf/qunari mage/warrior Vivienne (hopefully) / Sera / Jospehine
I prefer m/m followed by f/f
I thought this was worth posting here, as the topic of equitable/comparable content (including romance) for advisors and companions comes up fairly often.
Question:
Will advisors have less content and opportunities to build a relationship with the inquisitor than followers, or vice versa? How about for the romances?
Gaider's Answer:
The advisors (Leliana, Josephine, and Cullen) have the same amount of content as party members—they have just as many interactions and are involved in the main story a great deal. About the only difference is that they don’t have party banter.
DA:O: Male Rogue Elf - Morrigan.
DA2: Male Mage - None
DA:I: Male Elf/Human - If Solas is one. Maybe Dorian.
Origins human male warrior romance morrigan. Da2 Archer male Hawke romance Isabela. Dai male Trevelyan archer romance cass.

I picked that option but always assumed it was more playful. Acting clueless just because you enjoyed watching Leliana trying to express herself.
Yes, I very much thought that was in the DA2 jokey-face brand of dialogue options. She chastizes you for it too, I think, depending on your dialogue choices after she tells you.

From Gaider's tumblr: About the only difference is that they don’t have party banter.
It's worth noting that the advisors do have what we may as well call "stronghold banter." They banter with each other and NPCs, reflecting their relationships and reactivity. You'll have plenty of opportunity to be around them to hear it.
Oh awesome, thanks for the heads up. ![]()

Oh yeah, I think both interpretations work...which is another cool thing about it.
