Guys I found out theres a roleplay section in this forum. Why is there no DA roleplay? :v
I actually doubt if I will import anything into DAI. I can't remember what I did with who and when with each of my several characters. I'm just going to do the check list thing in the keep. (Which I have no clue what it will look like as I am not in the beta)
I assume David didn't want to call it banter because people would assume it's the 'walk around outside and trigger a conversation' banter and then be angry at you when it didn't happen that way.
It's good to know they chat. Is it like companion banter where you'll sometimes be prompted to comment?
It's different, because of other features we'll be talking about soon. Plus we were already abusing things in ways tech didn't quite expect. We want them talking as much as you guys.
So there isn't banter between the advisers and companions?
You're not traveling as a party at the time, so there are logistical blah blah concerns you don't need to care about and I can barely explain. I came up with a reasonable workaround that lets everyone communicate in a way that makes sense for the setting. You'll know what people think of each other.
You know...Comic on starts next week. Maybe we will get some news then.
If not I'll definitely break out in tears : (
So, I'm curious. I'm seeing a tendency conecting Alistair and Anders and Morrigan and Merril (as much as one can sense a pattern from 10-20 answers
). And it's surprising because I'd said that they're quite different from each other... Could it be that they're the most frequently picked so the coincidence it's just expected or... it's maybe that people like female mages and male gray guardians?
I'm aware it's probably just a coincidence, of course, but it surprised me
I can't speak for others but for mine, Anders and Alistair were by accident I didn't even think of the connection between the two being Wardens and for Morrigan and Merrill I only play a guy when I wan to romance Morrigan and since I used a Dalish I figured it would be nice to have Merrill as an LI since I might hear more about my Warden that way. (Though my two mage ladies romancing rogue ladies was completely planned)
Is there stuff like ME3 where people are sometimes visiting other companions and NPCs?

Great insight Lukas, please let it flow.
EDIT: Wonder what this new communication channel would be ... sms
Actually I think it might be the mobile app. makes sense.
We're collecting canon playthroughs?! Me too!
My import / "canon":
DA:O = Female Elven Rogue, romanced Alistair
DA II = Female Mage, romanced Fenris
DA:I = Female Qunari or Elf, Rogue, no idea about the romance
I know it's extremely unimportant but... why is there no dark haired guy to romance?
Like, ever? ![]()

Yeah right ? I like my men to have dark hair
(And Iron bull's horns don't count)
Anyone who thinks Aveline is ugly is out of their damn mind I still think she is the most beautiful woman in DA2.
Females or even people rip on each other all the time. It's not like Aveline just lies down and takes it. I can recall 3 instances right away where Aveline calls Isabela a ****.
Very true but the whole sl*t and manwoman thing got very old very fast (along with most of the hate banter) for me, I was very glad that they somehow got a good relationship kind of going by act 3
(and yes friends rip on eachother I do that all the time with my best friend but when thats always how their banter goes it gets tiring for me and a little offensive on both sides)

This. I find the ****** comment to be way more insulting and ****-shaming than the ugly comment. If you consider someone to be a horrible person for calling someone ugly, but not someone to be a horrible person for calling someone a ******, I'm concerned.
I'm a little late on the canon play through thing but decided to try and get mine down. I haven't fully decided on everything and I am not planning any romances until I know all the details for DA:I. Just gotta know who will like them and mesh with them best.
DAO: Dalish elf female Archer/Rogue romanced Alistair and became his mistress
DA2: Female Rogue/archer rivalmanced Sebastian
DAI: Dalish Elf female mage panromantic tbd romance
DAO: female elf mage romanced Alistair and stayed wardens together
DA2: female mage friendmanced Anders
DAI: qunari female rogue lesbian tbd romance
DAO: Casteless Dwarf Female DD/Rogue romanced Lelianna
DA2: female warrior friendmanced Merrill
DAI: Dwarf Female ??? bisexual tbd romance

I personally think the Alistair and Anders connection is probably a lot because of their jokey and lighthearted personalities. Granted there is much more to them than that, and Anders is different in DA2... enough so that many people really hate him now. But I also know a lot of people that like dramatic romances and such.

Is it alright that I find both insulting?
I really don't remember Isabella saying Aveline was ugly
what banter is that?

I say so, because they both are! They were both in the wrong, but I still love them both. ![]()

a lot of them :v

I don't think she uses the word ugly but she calls her things like man hands and a manwoman if I recall correctly.

I love them both too but I did not like all the hate and it felt like even more of insult to my hawke who was romancing Isabela. I still love both ladies but that hate man it wears down on me quickly^^;
