IN NO UNIVERSE.I would rather see Carver impaled on ten darkspawn swords on principle alone than see him actually romancing Merrill.

Am I doing it right, Xil?

I have an idea for multiplayer.
Dark Souls has invasion. You actually find someone connected, and you invade his world, kill him and steal his souls.
For DAI, you invade his world, kill his LI, plant a flag and a video of you teabagging his LI.
IN NO UNIVERSE.
Am I doing it right, Xil?
No, you're far too moderate. You don't have that edge of "not entirely sure if this person isn't genuinely crazy" that I do.

I don't think Merrill is interested in Carver romantically, and I'm certain she's well aware of his interest. He pretty much calls her out in MoTA for pulling the naive card when he exclaims, "Hey, you're doing that on purpose," followed by her giggling because he caught on (assuming your character hasn't romanced Carver, or else he mentions you instead).

As for Sebastian, telling him to **** off at the end is satisfying enough.
I'm guessing you don't like Carver then? I like him, guess that's why I'd like to see him be happy with Merrill I think they'd be rather cute together but that's just me ![]()
Telling Sebastian to bugger off was pretty satisfying I won't disagree with that one.
I wanted the option to kill Sebastian at the end. He's threatening to raise an army and come back for me. Why can't I kill him? I don't usually want to kill companions, but when they're an obvious threat, it's what makes sense.

I don't like Carver that much, but it's in large part because I think he's fantastically wrong for Merrill.
Lol, keep Merrill. I kinda shipped Carver/Stroud or Carver/Nathaniel for some reason. That is, if you made Carver a Warden. No, you're far too moderate. You don't have that edge of "not entirely sure if this person isn't genuinely crazy" that I do.

I can neither see Carver being bi nor do I see him working particularly well with any character who currently exists.
YES. I WANTED TO KILL HIM TOO. He threatened to raze Kirkwall to the ground because I chose to show mercy to Anders.I wanted the option to kill Sebastian at the end. That would've been pretty cool though I didn't hate Sebastian.
"I will return with an army and bring true justice-"
*Murder Knife to the face*
"You left me no choice." Hawke watches while a betrayed Sebastian falls to the ground and dies. Anders signs in relief.
"Hawke...you didn't have to-"
"I did it for Kirkwall. Not for you." (Alter the last line according to your Hawke's relationship with Anders)
YES. I WANTED TO KILL HIM TOO. He threatened to raze Kirkwall to the ground because I chose to show mercy to Anders.
What exactly is lost if Kirkwall gets razed to the ground? Because that place was awful.
Well, in that case, I ship Merrill/Carver all the way! They're so cute together!I can neither see Carver being bi nor do I see him working particularly well with any character who currently exists.

Agreed there should have been an option to A tell Sebastian to put the knife in Anders if he wanted it so badly and B throw the knife in his back as he left. I'm also not big on wanting to murder companions but I felt those two things should have been options.

Your troll-fu is weak, old man.
Lol, it's the principle of the thing. He threatened me over my choice to show mercy, which is something I do not tolerate, from anyone. What exactly is lost if Kirkwall gets razed to the ground? Because that place was awful.
There was no Sebastian romance there never was he was just humoring Hawke and didn't know how to turn her down.

That does a better Sebastian romance in my opinion (plus a very funny bloodmage one)
This was hilarious- thanks for linking to it!
Hey, I'm trying!Your troll-fu is weak, old man.
YES. I WANTED TO KILL HIM TOO. He threatened to raze Kirkwall to the ground because I chose to show mercy to Anders.
He's threatening to kill way more innocent people for even less reason and has no mind control spirit to blame. It's insane.

Except, apparently, Sebastian.

You say that like it's a bad thing
I don't like Carver that much, but it's in large part because I think he's fantastically wrong for Merrill.
To each their own I found Bethany and Sebastian more wrong for each other than Carver and Merrill but then again I"m hugely bias because I project all of my big sister protectiveness on Carver since I've got a little brother in real life ^^;;

I agree that it should have been an option, though I get from a writing standpoint why they didn't. He's already a DLC character--can you imagine the extra time they would've had to put into his inevitable showing in DAI had we also been able to kill him? Gah. I'll fall on that sword just so we can have an interesting meet-up with him in DAI. Granted he's actually in DAI.

You are quite welcome I've been trying to spread that little beauty to the masses whenever I can ![]()
It wasn't so much about Kirkwall as it was about him questioning my desire to show mercy. You say that like it's a bad thing
