Oh I didn't even think of that. Yeah best not to make Leliana the Liara of Dragon Age, I don't think I'd like it very much if she was holding a torch for the Warden at all especially the ones who never romanced her. Though I'm pretty convinced my Warden is dead by now so I also wouldn't want to see her hung up on the Warden still even if they did romance her in DAO.

It's be particularly silly if she was carrying a torch for a warden she'd never met. Or who had "killed" her.

I'm honestly hoping that the Inquisitor is for whatever reason not Leliana's type.
Because I'd hate it if on imports where she wasn't romanced at all she's still carrying a torch for the warden or some such nonsense.
How would it be that no Inquisitor, ever, could be Leliana's type, given that any Warden could be?

I've been wondering this for a while, since Leliana is playing a bigger role in this than she did in DA 2. Do you think if certain dialogue options are chosen she will mention her romance with The Warden if you romanced her? Cause she brought it up in The Exiled Prince DLC if you chose the right option.
Yes, I think she'll mention a romance with the Warden.
The darn Warden is the reason she's not romanceable in DAI, so she'll better bring him/her up.
I think Leliana is the reason Leliana is not available for romance.

She did admit to wanting to take off my eyelashes while I slept so this oddly fit her. Sweet crazy Leilana how you wiggled your way into my Mage's cold heart I will never know but I'm glad you did. ![]()

Hey, not take them off, just wanted to catch them if they flew away.

I love Leliana, but she certainly has her...quirks. Like, take that line about the eyelashes. Now imagine that instead of sweet, devout, (seemingly) innocent Leliana, that had been Alistair saying the same to a female Warden. Creep factor x100000.
Or Anders.

What? Alistair's also on the sweet and innocent side. But he lacks Leliana's quirkiness, so it'd probably sound worse coming out of nowhere.
As for Anders, he's much more the "drown in blood" type. Which I admit, I kind of like. But my orientation's incompatible with him.

Well the guy did think that drowning you both in blood to keep you safe was a romantic line >> Not really keeping Hawke safe if you drowned them in blood pal.
Hey, not take them off, just wanted to catch them if they flew away.
Ah my mistake well either way my mage fell for it by then Leilana had that Warden wrapped tightly around her finger

Then again, I have had a dozen women complement me on my eyelashes and not one guy. Which is amusing as long eyelashes are supposedly attractive to men.

I've had more women complimented me on my eyelashes than men. Men had typically complimented me on my eyes first.

Being so specific as to notice the eyelashes isn't really common among men in general.
I just go with "eyes" as a whole either if complimenting or just thinking it in my mind.

The compliment itself is a bit odd. Lots of times, they tell me that my eyelashes are like a man's.

Yes, noticing and commenting on eyelashes feels very girly to me. It's the same as that conversation about shoes Leliana has. She has this sort of quirky femininity that she brings into most interactions.

Yup, I don't see Cass telling the inquisitor what beautiful eyelashes they have.

If she was romanced in DA:O I definitely do hope Leliana isn't available because she still sticking with the Warden - and if she wasn't romanced, it might just be because she isn't interested right now, not because the Inquisitor isn't her type per se but because she just really isn't feeling it right now. It would make sense with what happened.

Eh, as a man, I have and do notice eye-lashes on women. The difference, however, is men tend to think is sweeping terms. Certain parts of peoples body we classify in groups, the eyes/eyelashes is a good example of this. Actually it's pretty much Eyes, Face, Chest, Hands, Hips, Legs, and Feet. It's why we notice things like finger nail polishes, and toe nail polishes, but if ever we were to compliment them we'd make it part of a group.
Our ultimate 'Cover everything in one go' trick is to say, "You look absolutely amazing..." as our eyes scan you up and down. Bonus points if you get us to sound breathless at the same time.
This is just typical behavior I've noticed (and not going to lie, participate in) through out the years. Again, it's not that we don't 'notice' things like eyelashes, we just group them up with your 'eyes' and consider them a single point of soul quivering bad-assery.
Disclaimer: I can't speak for all men everywhere, this is just observations made in the past.

I think Leliana is probably not romanceable (from a story aspect) because she's just in such a different mindset now. The new Leliana seems like the returning character they've made the most gritty and dark. She was more so in DA2 than Origins, but now it's reached a high. She was much more optimistic and light hearted in DA:O. There are also implications in DA:O that she was spying for the divine and that may have influenced her to try seduction techniques on the warden, which may have lead to her falling for them, herself, or like people wonder with Morrigan, maybe it was always for ulterior motives. In DA:I she's got no cause for any of that. I think she's just focused on the breach and probably her bitterness over the Divine's death, who she's served very loyally and I imagine she feels like she failed.

Ummm, Mortie, Leliana couldn't have been spying for the Divine in DAO, which took place in 9:30-9:31 Dragon, because Justinia wasn't even crowned as Divine until 9:34.
