Yep it's done for girls which is quite rare/unseen in anime scene (there is shojo but that's not fanservice) and stirred up some controversy from male audience who was mad they weren't catered by anime studio who usually do fanservice animes for them.
Yeah but once someone's imagination starts rolling then it's only a matter of time before there's sex laden discussions.
Truth

SpoilerI'm just going to leave this right thar, for those old enough to view it.
*ambles back out whistling*
I love how that post was written like a cautionary PSA, but all of that detail does absolutely nothing to curb fictional character cravings ![]()

lolllllll I love it when guys complain about sexual objectification. Which is why I'm extremely amused by J.Lo's recent music video:
Where you get youtube comments like these:
(ironically the 'sexual objectification' in that vid is pretty tame compared to alot of other music vids...)
Aside from that, I watched the first season of Free! (havent touched the 2nd) and it is a good shonen anime in itself, while silly at times, its far from shallow, and has alot of humor.

That youtube comment made me laugh at the sheer irony of it.He's complaining about men being sexualized when it's been happening for decades now.
All those shirtless scenes with guys rocking six pack abs in almost every movie or tv show show men are sexualized too.
I have to imagine that youtube comment was made ironically.
As the saying goes 'Sex Sells' Sad but true. It's just how blatant/in your face/over the top things are that seems to vary.

Some people are actually serious when saying things like that though.
Still love Varric's attitude about being objectified.
