I am sick of the shrinking school girl type (ME1 Liara, ME2 Tali, DA2 Merrill... to some extent Leliana). So relieved there don't seem to be any of those this time.

I'll give you Merrill but Tali was not the school girl type in ME2.

It's really not good to generalize women like that. And I mean, even then, men do this at least as much as women.

I'm not trying to be rude or anything, statements like that just rub me the wrong way.

... that was a joke.

XD

See perfect reason for Solas to be bi. Plenty of male and female players still dig them :P

It might also be that I never romanced Fenris, so Zevran was the only elf I romanced and that was ages ago. So, elves still seem pretty fresh, to me. lol

Compare all the other races to the quari,You would see they all have a high difference issue with animation. Going back to DAO with a human/dwarf romance  will show you height would not make a difference.

Thats the reason I've been heard going around. I'm a big dwarf player and its going to bum me out if the race restrictions are true but if they're harder to animate then I'll believe it since i know nothing of animation or how hard it might be (though it could be solved with a fade to black in my opinion I don't actually need to see a sex scene with my romance but thats just me) Also IB looks to be quite taller than a human so maybe its harder to do qunari/dwarf than it is human/dwarf? I really don't know.

Considering most of the women are around 30 or older they're far too old for that =/

And what's wrong with that?  ;)

I am not sure how you can be sick of elves. I've dated nothing but humans all my life, and have not gotten tired of them, so having three romancable elves in a row is hardly boring.

Yeah, but humans are interesting

The closest I think it will get is Scribbles may fall under the 'bookworn' type of romance.

That's impossible tbh :P With that set sexuality thing, everyone will be a little mad, sadly.

People would be disappointed even if the characters were all bisexual, simply because it would decrease the chances of a different character they like being a romance option.  It happened with Varric in DA2.

Pffft. Don't you try to shove him only on me. We shall suffer together >:|

Hahahahaha!

Poor Solas. I truly do feel sorry for the guy, but srsly.

And anyway look at his thread, 99% of the people who want to romance him are women.

With Dorian, it is much more of an even split among his most vocal fans.

The only one out of the 3 that was over 30  was Liara. Tali and Merrill are in their 20's.

'Most women*' wanted Morrigan before DA:O came out.

* Of women who like women and post on the BioWare forums, which is like .00000003% of women.

Male DA elves are ew.

If they were like Elder Scrolls elves, (badass Dunmer) then I would consider a romance playthrough.

I guess I didn't see Tali that way, but otherwise I completely agree.

I'm not that sick of them, but I do want more variety for sure.

Well, considering that my interactions with her were gated because I was playing a Femshep, it stops at the, "Oh... uhm... gee.. Shepard... I'd... sync my suit for you... UHM! ohnoIsaidtoomuchtoShepardsempai!!~~"

And their was a reason we were told he would almost sleep with anyone as long as they don't break during sex. Heck, I'm betting some how he's a fling of Isabela.

I thought the whole reasoning behind the DA2 system was that it was the easiest, most economical way to give everyone options.

The only race I just can't find attractive is dwarves. I think a Qunari could be attractive to me, but not Iron Bull. He went far in the opposite direction of what I'd want. I wish they could tone down the testosterone a bit. It's disappointing to me that the female Qunari we've seen in art are very humanized and attractive, while the males are basically monsters.

I realize that's my preference, though, and some people like the hyper-masculine version.

......You're saying the elves in elder scroll that were hit by the ugly stick as a race is better then da elves?

Judging the sexabilty of men is not my strong suit, but wasn't Fenris badass? He sounded it, and he was a warrior who could reach into you and tear out bits. He was always angry and growly and a hard drinker.

He was a grizzled action hero in elf form.

Or the cockney accent makes Sandal all warm and tingly.

Agreed, I was kinda looking forward to a qunari romance (because we are defenders of the night... WE ARE GARGOYLES!) but IB is a bit... too... rough. I think.

Yeah, I thought everyone was hideous in Skyrim. XD
