Which simply adds to the nonsense of what we have been told about the Reapers earlier in the trilogy.

"There is a realm of existence so far beyond your own you cannot even imagine it.  I am beyond your comprehension."

"We are each a nation, independent, free of all weakness"

But even so, the Catalyst, since it controls the so called "independent, free of all weakness, operating on a level so far above our own they are incomprehensible" Reapers should be "autonomous" enough to not be comparable to an act of nature.

Yes -- "independent"

THEREFORE ---

"Since the creation will eventually rebel against its creator”  & millions of years have passed ---

And this is "an UNDISPUTABLE, iron-clad, unbreakable & inevitable TRUTH" ---- then

Catalyst & Reapers should be at WAR with each other.

If folks believe Catalyst saw it coming – then why did Catalyst say “the Crucible changed me” & not the threat of war with the reapers?

Udina is indoctrinated, but he lives on the Citadel?

Maybe he sneakes away behind C-SEC's back because he wants to cuddle Harbinger?  :P

When Udina told Shep "those self-serving stupid jackasses" -- followed by his frustration with the Council -- I belive this was a RIPE situation for TIM to easily talk Udina into trashing the anti-human Council.   As Tali would say,  "I'll loan you a grenade".

BTY-can any of you experts out there give me a REALLY GOOD reason to save the Council in ME1?   I know it saves the Ascension with 10,000 aboard -- but is there any gameplay benefit later in ME2, ME3?   I realize the Council "preserves & sustains" the Spectre status -- but I belive that is reinstated anyway if you let the bastards die.   Help me out -- since I want to kill those bastards so BAD!

The destiny ascension ups your war assets total.

Not really. I saved the Destiny Ascension for tactical reasons and because I like original councilors...but it doesn't really matter in ME2/3, neither do any other "big" choices like the collector base.

I like the flavor the decision gives the ME2 Citadel.

Shepard calling the Geth VI Legion, if Legion is killed in ME2

Does she do that if you airlock it (I haven't got that far on my play through yet)?

You can space the geth in ME2? I can't remember that option.

During the Geth Consensus mission she says it about 2 times I believe and just before leaving the shuttle when doing the Rannoch mission and again before facing the destroyer. The times on Rannoch I believe depends on what dialogue you chose when talking with it. If you talk with it on the Normandy, she mentions Legion a couple of times, though I don't recall if she calls it Legion. Its been awhile since I've done it, but on my current ME3 run, I will have the Geth VI because Legion was killed in ME2

As far as I know, the Geth can't be spaced in ME2. If there is that option, I would like to know how to get that option.

I don't really care for the way Geth VI was handled. It's easily the most blatant placeholder where Legion should have been present, right down to the weird holographic N7 armor fragments. It has interesting dialogue that easily sets it apart, but the rest was clumsy enough that I avoid letting Legion die in ME2.

It can be added as another "looks cool" thing

Eh, I'm not really a fan of any of that stuff. In any case, the entire situation is borked anyhow. If you sold Legion in ME2, you basically had little to no reason to trust any geth at all, since you won't get any of Legion's insight nor would you get its help against the Collectors, yet you were forced to take this imposterbot aboard the Normandy.

it makes more sense if he died than if he was sold to Cerberus, if he died he can be seen as trying to replecate Legion's appearance for reasons, but if he was sold to Cerberus there is no reason for him to have that equipment

Well Shepard has never been particularly bright about placing unknown AI on his ship.

"Hmm, the AI core seems like a perfectly logical place for a possibly dangerous robot. That way if it breaks loose and starts killing everyone in the usually Cerberus fashion it wouldn't have to walk far to do the most damage."

I admit, part of what I really love about the Rannoch mission is the soundtrack that plays during it.

I have done a playthrough where I did give the Geth to Cerberus in ME2 and Shepard recognizes it on the dreadnought by mentioning that he/she gave it to Cerberus. Shepard will not refer to it as Legion and the Geth VI will have the hologram N7 armor and hole in its torso.

Javik will call it Legion in dialogue

@imaginarymatter He places a Geth and a Cerberus robot in the AI core, it would've been safer to put two rival Krogan in the armoury.

To be fair, in the past he has also put an assassin in life support and a violent criminal in engineering. Shep's the trusting type.

Javik will call it Legion in dialogue

I have not noticed this at all and I speak to Javik after every mission and take him on every mission.

But I might've missed it while rolling a joint or something :P

Biggest difference between Legion and the Geth VI, in my opinion, is that Legion seems to be in awe of the Reaper mind, the Geth VI is not at all. That is, if you sold Legion to Cerberus, because apparantly it dying or being sold makes a difference. (something I didn't know until now :P)

I thought it was kind of more like, "see this broken leg? Imagine having a broken leg!" in a room where everyone has a broken leg.

It was more like: "see your broken leg? Now imagine if your other one was broken too!"
