Anderson: "There's still one outstanding issue. Commander Shepard's vision. It may have been triggered by the beacon"
Lol, I wish Shepard could shoot a look like "Oh for f*ck's sake I said we shouldn't tell them".

I really enjoy Saren's response to the visions getting introduced as evidence.
Yep! My last car rebelled against me in 2012 so I bought a new one.
The word you don't understand is "eventually" - your argument is basically "There's one white sheep, therefore all sheep are white"; you do not understand that to prove this statement you'd have to check every conceivable organic species (or every sheep).
Never mind that Shep has nose-to-nose encounters with them. Sawdust for brains.
Even Shepard didn't know that at the time - all you have is a highly ambiguous vision which might as well have been a copy of prothean Independence Day.
Catalysts: “the created will always rebel against their creators”

"It was inevitable that the newly-sentient geth would rebel against their situation."
Thanix Missiles!
Shiala: "The Cipher is the very essence of being a Prothean. It cannot be described or explained."
"Destroying the Reapers gains us nothing."
"How about peace?"
"They're just trying to control us. Think about it: If they wanted all organic life destroyed, they could do it. There would be nothing left."
"What the hell are you talking about?"
"I know them, Shepard. I know how they think."
"I think you've gotten a little too close to the enemy."
"No... I'm saying they've got it right. Why kill when you can control?"
"The Reapers have it right? You're indoctrinated! You're doing just what they want."
"I could say the same of you, wasting time on a war that can't be won."
"At least I'm fighting."
"Never question my ability to fight! I've been fighting them longer than you can imagine. And don't assume you know me. My methods for dealing with the Reapers are simply more refined than yours."
This entire dialogue is just a mess, and the Illusive Man makes himself look stupid.
Shiala: "The Cipher is the very essence of being a Prothean. It cannot be described or explained."
Javik explained it pretty well.
Anderson really came across as a crazy old man during some of those early conversations.
It doesn't help his case that he went to go punch Udina and let Shepard leave off with the impounded Normandy. Kinda emphasizes the "crazy" part.

Well, it's either that or get shot... now if he'd have run streaking through citadel control to distract everyone, that would be crazy.

I approve of this indoctrination theory. Anderson is a crazy N7, and now, Shepard's all caught up in his crazy ideas.

*Anderson pulls shep back from falling off the ledge*
shep: Thanks. I owe you one.
Anderson: More than one.
shep: The hell are you talking about?
Anderson: Remember back when you stole the Normandy to go to Ilos...?
shep: I ...uhhh... kinda hoped you forgot about that.
Anderson: Not a chance.
shep: Dammit.... *pushes Anderson off the ledge*

No more "I was born in london" this time you son of a b****.
Where's sH0tgUn jUliA to give us Shepard's famous question about how asari can mate with their own species.
"I thought Asari needed other species to reproduce."
"Yeah, the Turians tried that with us, too."
"Why are you here?"
"I am the Catalyst."
"Is fire at war when it burns? Is it in conflict? Or is it simply doing what it was created to do?"
"Because I need you to believe."
"No. NO. I'm in control!"
Anderson: "There's still one outstanding issue. Commander Shepard's vision. It may have been triggered by the beacon"
This this this.
I have no idea why they would even mention the vision at the hearing.
Anything and everything that starbrat says. Actually, most of ME3's earth-centered plot. When the entire galaxy is on fire and all life is threatened, surely the fate of a single planet is all that we care about and fret over yup yup >_<
I still don't know what "the soul of our species" is...

Some?
In hindsight, everything Anderson says about Saren is hilarious.

Well, he just assumed Saren attacked Eden Prime because he hated humans, without proof or doubt. Apparently that was enough reason for a spectre to destroy random colonies ![]()
Anderson: "Shepard. I'm sending you right up the gut where the resistance is the heaviest. Support the tanks the best you can, but stay alive. I need you for the final push to the beam".
I never understood this as a tactic.
